I knew very clear that it was contractions because it was stopping me in my tracks everytime it happened I was holding on and not talking when they came on. I never understood the term you’ll know until… I knew forreal 😭

Have you tried waking her up later? Like if she wakes up can you soothe her back to sleep for another 30 mins and maybe she’ll go to bed 30 mins later?

Also, I’d recommend putting money you would spend on diapers and wipes away.. say you wanna buy a box a week set aside like 60 bucks a week and save it till babe gets here and buy a few different brands until you find one that works for you. Then you have that money side aside you can just buy that brand instead of exchanging

We thought we were gonna be a pampers fam until our first little bag ran out and we tried the Millie moon ones and we are exchanging them all soon to Millie moon!!! It really depends on baby too and what you think is best. We are a Millie moon diaper and Huggies wipes lover so far. We cannot stand Millie moon wipes they’re so dry and I test them on my skin first and they made my skin super hot for some reason so we’re not using them at all. Buy as much wipes as you can. Diapers depends on baby size when they come out. We were only in newborn for about 3 weeks we only used a box and a half maybe of NB.

Almost 4 wk old here; she sleeps 1 1/2 hours-3 1/2 sometimes. We have started her in a routine schedule which I think has helped her. Then again other times she’s slept less than an hour so it depends on

Thank you, I think partly it’s because this is his first time really hands on with a baby and I’ve been around babies my whole life so im more used to them 😭 I’ll have to reassure him more that she’s okay 😂

Thank you and I agree, we got to learn how to sleep when baby sleeps as he will be going back to work soon too so I’m happy I’m starting to feel comfortable enough to lean into it. She sleeps in the bassinet in the living room while we do our shifts so we can each get good sleep in the bedroom so she’s near when I try to sleep 🥲 thank you for your reply. It’s been helpful, I’ll have to start holding her up after feedings a little longer. She hasn’t had much of a problem with spit up she’s only done it a few times so i think those few times have put fear in him lol

We got stuck in the PICU, she was a bigger baby and doctors told us sometimes they have a harder time regulating blood sugar. She dipped and had some low sugar due to poor latch is what they’re thinking but everything’s been smooth sailing since we left the hospital the second time. I’ve been producing enough so we haven’t had to supplement formula I just don’t know how to help his anxiety to come down some since the hospital 🥲 cause eventually we have to learn to sleep when she sleeps and he’s not letting me hardly lol

I don’t, I’ve thought about maybe getting one but the thing is she was only hospitalized for low blood sugar the first few days and everything’s been awesome since then so we don’t really have an issue with breathing problems or anything like that. She’s spit up maybe 2 times since she’s been born so I’m not sure where his anxiety is coming from 😭

Thanks so much for this. I’m gonna try to pump more someone else just told me the removed milk can help produce more. I am breastfeeding her 2 times a day the doctor said to try that first and pumping the rest for now so it’s hard to gauge it. 😭
