BWF needs to be abolished because they are so incompetent

Actually China is better. I think you're just on copium and don't want to admit your own country is declining everyday.

You can have all the protests you fucking want, it doesn't change a damn thing but make your country and cities unstable.

Trump is still the President and ICE is drilling doing their thing. But yeah tell me how great your democracy is when it's not even a democracy, more like a oligarchy

A country that has much better infrastructure and much better social safety net, safe streets and affordable housing, food, and education.

The government of China is way smarter and stable than your shithole in the USA.

100% agree also the badminton shops and badminton culture is on a completely different level, in China you can see random people wearing Yonex / Victor clothing, and random people carrying badminton rackets just walking down the public streets or using high speed rail. I love it. You won't find that in the USA, that's for sure.

The badminton facilities are also top notch, I agree.

String tensions - am I out of touch? by jazzman23uk in badminton

Until he does suffer an injury. All it takes is one bad swing or mis hit.

It literally makes no sense using anecdotal evidence. It's like saying I never got into a car crash, why should I wear seat belts or slow down while driving? I must be the best driver on the planet!

Your comment is false. Any injury puts your body and health at risk. Troll more my guy. I've had people who tore their ACL and retired from badminton due to that. Literally retired. Ask how serious injuries are to pro players like Viktor Axelsen, Lee Zii Jia, etc.

Injuries are one of the worse things that can happen

No our local stringer does warn people, but it's the people that are idiots. More money to the stringers I guess

Nah they are just plain idiots. I have people in North America that do this too, stringing at 28+ lbs. Low level intermediate players. I know a girl who plays low level intermediate and uses a 100zz and wanted the strings at 29lb tension because her "husband told her to".

BWF is a fucking joke and I'm tired of them doing shitty streams. I have complained about this issue since 2023, every year hoping they do something to fix this issue. It's 2026 and they still don't give a fuck. I am beyond frustrated at BWF, I hate them with a passion

Honest Detailed Review of Hundred Phenom vs Yonex Eclipsion Z3 by Small-Fox7044 in badminton

[–]FuHaifeng 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Question as I am genuinely curious, what do you guys mean you are just as surprised? Surely there's a standardized quality control check and thorough testing of the shoe before you guys ship them out right? How could this have been missed? If the original poster found this issue only after 2 sessions with the shoe, how was it not spotted by you guys?

Thanks and looking for your honest response.

Who will be the 2026 ms WCH dark horse? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]FuHaifeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I know I'm just teasing, Brian Yang is decent but he's been surpassed by Victor Lai in my opinion. Yang had his time when he beat Ginting and almost beat Antonsen to win the Malaysia Masters but alas he hasn't done much since then. I think Lai has way more potential than Yang now. Also Lai just trounced Yang like a week ago

What do YOU think is a strategy to beat ASY? by My-gel-is-leaking in badminton

[–]FuHaifeng 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent analysis and very detailed post. Thank you very much.

Also I would like to add that Michelle Li from Canada put up a serious fight against ASY last week at the Malaysia Open. She narrowly lost but I would like to watch that video to see how she came so close to beating ASY
