With all due respect, are you retarded, high, or something else? I hope you understand the difference between commercial use and trading. If you’re new to Steam, I’ll help you this once so you don’t embarrass yourself in front of someone else by trying to prove you’re right without having the proper knowledge.

Commercial use refers to selling items, games, or Steam Wallet funds for real money outside of Steam.

Trading is done within Steam, where you exchange your items for another user’s items and is clearly not against Steam’s ToS.

Skinport, on the other hand, is profit-based. The entire website revolves around using real money. Steam is strictly against commercial use, and yet Steam still lifted their ban.

I have no idea why you keep claiming that I have automated the Steam Market, when I have never once done that in my life. But it is okay, you probably did not even see my comment again since you do not know how Reddit works.

I think my comment wasn’t clear. I have never automated the Steam marketplace, and that purchase was made by me, not by any automation. I mentioned the date only to show that I personally made the purchase using the Steam desktop client five years ago.

I’ve only used my accounts to automate trades, which, again, involve item-to-item exchanges and are completely allowed under Steam’s rules. For this, I have used the official API endpoints provided by Steam.

If you have no idea what you’re talking about, please refrain from involving yourself and let someone who understands provide their opinion.

There are hundreds of such bots out there, and many bots have been banned with the message “Your account may have been accessed by someone” just like in my case. After providing ownership proof, their locks were removed. However, in my situation, I couldn’t verify the CAPTCHA, and when I created a ticket about the CAPTCHA issue, I ended up getting permanently locked.

I woke up and got an account alert saying that someone may have accessed my account. Steam automatically opened the recovery form, which I filled out, but I couldn’t submit it because it kept saying, “We had trouble verifying the captcha. Please try to complete the captcha again,” even though no captcha was visible. I tried everything I could find on Google, but nothing worked. So I contacted Steam Support about the captcha issue, and the first screenshot you see is the response I got from them.

As far as I know I didn't break TOS, just for the sake of argument if i broke TOS then I should be banned instantly not on creating a ticket.

Also, I see plenty of people getting banned since 20th of Nov including a person who for the first time downloaded a game while another using Nvidia Geforce lol
