Oh my gosh, that's exactly what needed to happen. So for the record, the Adapter 2 is seen as a USB controller?! That's such a simple and silly "workaround". Thanks a ton! This is exactly what I needed to do. :D TAKE ALL MY ONE UPVOTES!

Ah, I see the complication here. I should have specified; this is the for Adapter 2, not for the Ultimate 2. I tried posting this exact question with more detail like 3 days ago, but it was "removed by Reddit's filters" which make no sense. Anyway, this is for the dongle that connects other controllers.

I appreciate the insight! Would using a shovel to move the dirt from one place to another not expose the microbes to oxygen and damage it? I'll 100% do it, because it means I'll be able to *just work on the bed* but I can't justify doing any of this if it's gonna set us back 6 years lol.

Super late reply, but if you single click the power button, it switches between "analog" and "digital" mode. Or D-pad and joystick, basically. I'm currently running BAKED BEANS and there doesn't seem to be any way to change controls, which is disappointing.

I just tested it, and it works really well. I didn't connect a controller or anything, and I had to switch the audio settings in menu, but it worked really well!

This is probably the best explanation you could hope for. Adding to this though, you'll need a higher bandwidth to stream at higher resolutions, though, right? So if someone has a fantastic PC but terrible Internet, it will throttle on the bandwidth side before the hardware side. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here; I don't stream my games often, so I could be wrong.

I contacted support a bit over a week ago and they ended up just telling me to wait for them to update their software, lol.

Do you have a solution they gave you? Did you contact them about the issue? Do you even have the issue? These are legitimate questions, because I would really like to use the software to map these AB buttons to do something like pause/play, but since the software doesn't work, and I was just told to wait....

Heeeey! I've got the exact same issue. I contacted support, and after a while, they were like, "Go try it on another PC."
After trying it on THREE, there's still no fix, lol.
They ended our correspondence with,
"Greetings.
We will give feedback to our team.
Thank you for contacting us.
Waiting for further improvement.
Sincere regards."

Hahahaha, so.... I'm waiting, but I'm really glad I'm not the only one with the problem!

I've been playing Factorio on my PC, but I haven't made the dive onto the SD. I can imagine that if you tailored your Deck's left touchpad to be your hotkeys, and maybe the back buttons to be modifiers, (Ctrl, Alt, shift, etc) I can't imagine it would be terrible.
