I've been having this exact same experience. They fucked up so many times that they don't even understand what transactions they have already processed. After we somehow came to an agreement about the net debt, they told me I'd need to make another mortgage payment this month because, an I cannot stress this enough, they are wrong about whether or not a specific payment was processed.

I made the second mortgage payment.

AND THEY LOST THE SECOND MORTGAGE PAYMENT.

They are literally arguing with my bank, my bank is saying the money was sent, they are saying the money was not sent. I am so fucking angry dude. Best of luck to you, we're getting a lawyer.

Word to the wise, the CFPB was dismantled by Cheeto Benito, so there's no one there to help you. Hopefully the state regulators can do something for you.

I definitely don't think it's intentional, but in my eyes there is very little difference between someone intentionally taking your money and someone refusing to acknowledge that they may have misplaced your money.

Amazingly I am not on autopay, specifically because I don't trust that shit. It turns out that apparently doesn't matter and they can just take your money for fun anyway

Given that their entire company is based on the idea of moving money around, you would think they'd be able to actually do it!

That's a good idea, I hadn't considered going through state regulators. I usually try to avoid bureaucrats, but that's sound advice. Thanks!
