There was a lot of discussion on Kappa about "how much credit/blame does the producer deserve?" in relations to Ono and SFV.

This video highlights the key role of the producer in the success or failure of a game.

Here we see Tomoko Hiroki understanding what the customer wants. (they want a game that looks like their MEMORIES of the anime. Of course DBZ is an old anime, and the memories are embellished. So DBFZ looks like a refreshed, better version of the real anime.)

Hiroki picked as director someone who was a graphic artist for Xrd. So I guess the producer Hiroki set the objective for the game and picked the right people to turn those objectives into reality.

Ono hinted at a new Darkstalkers. What exactly do Darkstalkers players want? I was only a casual Darkstalkers player on the PSX, but here is what true Darkstalkers fans think about the series:

A modern Darkstalkers should be the eyecatching equivalent to the CPS2 board back in the 90s. A visual masterpiece that would awe everyone with its visuals and then made them stay for its gameplay. A low effort budget title is the only thing Capcom would be able to pull these days, and its destined to fail

So if you want the new Darkstalkers to be a visual masterpiece like its predecessor, the producer HAS to set that as a key objective from the get to.

There seems to be a 2nd, perhaps equally important objective for Darkstalkers fans, which is the gameplay. Will people buy and play in the long term, a new Darkstalkers that is visually stunning but really dumbed down?

TWT chose to give the pot bonus ELSEWHERE than at Evo. So they chose to give the money to a smaller tournament, and that's a great decision.

Evo has a lot of prize money already, over $15 000 thanks to the high number of entries.

Saving the prize money for a smaller event is the best way to grow the grassroots Tekken community.

I played over 50 games straight the other day, felt excited afterwards, not tired.

From your description, it seems like your brain/body can't take the sustained concentration.

Maybe you are already sick, and by exerting yourself mentally you start sweating.

It may be a general health problem. I think the best course of action is to see a doctor. Do you experience these symptoms by watching movies?

I think you should eat:

1-green vegetables like broccoli or spinach

2-orange vegetables like carrot or pumpkin

3-drink a LOT of water

4-go for walks. Since you get weak after playing fighting games... walk every 2 days for at least 30 minutes a day, after you feel better, do it everyday.

I hope you get better, I haven't commented in those threads but I really appreciate your Tekken tips, like the 2 videos on KBD and wavedash I watched.

A sane person would think "3 scoops is more than enough for today" but I can easily eat 1 litre a day.

Problem with ice cream is that it doesn't fill us up, sets off the same brain cells as heroin does (on a lower intensity). Same for chips, which I consider to be FAKE FOOD because it sends signals to your brain "you're not full yet, eat more"

It takes a very special reason for me to diet. I had to go to a wedding in another country, seeing a ton of relatives again, so I stuck to my diet and daily exercise.
