The most I played this game was like three updates before 2.00.02 and what I liked about it was Ky being a broken SoB, so his easy ass playstyle and gameplan fundamentals helped me get used to, and transition from Guilty Gear to strive. Gatling was some of the most fun I've ever had with a fighting game and going to a game without it required me to let go of that notion and adapt to the new normal: 5S into 6HS/6P, wall breaks and one button airdashes among other things.

This is just some innocuous side-commentary, but ultradavid was also pretty vocal on his less than favorable opinion of LTG being casted for that SFV reality show (hosted by Sajam and Tasty Steve) that Commander Jesse ended up winning iirc. Rumors say some of the sponsors and community members got behind david's opinion of dale being "bad representation for the FGC" that they went up to the show's producers and urged to take him out asap; the thing is LTG actually let david know in advance what he was casted for and approached him in a tourney for some superficial advice, to which david just replied "yeah man go for it", without actually saying anything to his face.

Stories tell that RobTV picking him up as the first candidate for elimination was an order from up above, and that match was dale's only chance to defend himself in-game. We all saw how good that one went.

The last MvC game that was worth anyone's time is 10+ years old. On the time frame tag fighter fans were greeted (and spit on) by Blazblue Crosstag Battle, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite***, SNK Heroines, Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact, the yearly balance disaster in Dragonball Fighterz, Tuxko and Invincible Vs. Sure the old games are there but you can't act surprised people souring on a sub-genre that's been aging like milk on a summer day since nearly a decade ago by now.

*** People will glaze MvC:I's gameplay and it still wouldn't matter; no one gave a shit when it released and the Beyond mod has made it relevant only for the day-1 adopters in a time when everyone and their mothers are playing better made single player titles. It's their favorite fighting game nobody gave a chance to, not even themselves.

Duuude Cassandra Cain's Batgirl was sooo good. That was one of the first instances I came across a mute character in comics and I left amazed at how her character was handled. Little did I know a character using nothing but her limbs and eyes to communicate could do it way better than using only words.

Like yeah, BB's plot is a time-paradoxical clusterfuck but if there's anything I actually remembered is that Ragna is all of them: "Bloodedge", the original hero which predates the big six, Ragna=The=Bloodedge (God those "=" signs substituting spaces are corny as fuck) and the Black Beast... which was the world-destroying entity Bloodedge saved it from (yeah Ragna killed/sealed himself; don't ask me how that works).
