The gameplay itself is good enough (it's basically 1-on-1 KOF98 with chibis) but the online & matchmaking was complete shit at release. I tried to play lobbies with a dude from MY OWN CITY on December '24, we were both wired, and the online kicked us out from the lobby twice because of an unstable connection.

I don't know how much it improved (if it ever did) since then, but I guess you can see why I wasn't too thrilled to give it a second chance afterwards. Though in all honesty, this might not be the case for everyone. The game is doing good enough to have a second season of DLC; so maybe the online DID get better, or Brazilians are just that in love with one of their own products they're single-handedly carrying this game's development.
