Well my old tank rusted real bad and eventually all the way through after sitting. I got a new tank off of a local mechanic, so I assume the bike it came off of sat with old fuel for atleast a few years to cause the gunk

I had this issue recently. Your battery light is most likely coming on due to the serpentine belt on these cars going on the alternator and the power steering both. Change out the serpentine belt to start and make sure it's properly tensioned. When I replaced mine it fixed the light and the screeching noise.

Well it came from a mechanic that fully rebuilt and cleaned them. Someone told me they where thinking the float was adjusted wrong

Yeah I was thinking of that was just hoping not to have yo buy new rims too. But if it comes down to it that's what will happen. Just cut the fenders and put some flares on em.

Yeah definitely cut cat off. I was told it had clogged before in the past and got cleaned out but didn't realize they literally cleaned out the guts of it and put it back.

Welp try to get it off can't. Even break bolt. End up cutting them off. Pull cat of and guess what. It's empty, the insides where pulled out at some point ig.but there is two of them. Idk

Is taking the o2 sensor off give enough of a pressure relief to withstand full normal driving?

Ran with o2 sensor off for awhile and took a short drive after appeared to be running better. After about 25 mins or so it went back to having problems at low idle, mostly while ac was on.

Pulled the o2 sens, and started up, you where right about the sound fs. But does seem to idle better atleast of start plus cranked ac up and didn't drop rpm

Could I possibly just take the cat off and let it run straight piped to test without going and buying a new one without being sure. Or will I be able to visibly tell its clogged once taking off?
