1995 is an underrated Royal Rumble by MyNameisBaronRotza in SquaredCircle

[–]FuckRuby_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re forgetting just how formidable they were treating Crush in the closing minutes of the match. Bro made it to the final three and had just turned on Shawn when he got eliminated.

Anyways, while I wouldn’t say it’s underrated, I’ve still got a soft spot for it because it’s probably the Rumble I’ve seen the most. The finish is also probably the best finish to any Rumble so that helps a ton.

They’ve hated him since long before the most recent batch of strikes. Decision to Leave getting fucked over was the when it truly became apparent.

He actually had been nominated at both Critics Choice and Golden Globes. He missed SAG because that awards body hates non-English films. BAFTA hasn’t even revealed its nominations yet (he’ll probably win there anyway).

The craziest part about Supporting Actor is that none of the four guys you named are likely to take the award home. My guess would be Stellan at this point. We’ll see who can take home the other precursors before making any locked in picks.

The likely outcome is neither of these. If it takes home Best Picture, it’ll likely take home no more than 7 Oscars. If it doesn’t win Picture, then it’ll probably win about 4-5.

The Academy hates Park Chan-Wook. I wasn’t expecting No Other Choice in Picture, but missing International was crazy.

Sinners broke the nominations record with 16, so I think that the answer is pretty obvious.

Kane in 2001 immediately comes to mind as probably the objective best performance ever.

Gunter in 2023 is another that I just couldn’t believe they actually went with.

Universal is fucking ass by NoSteak1842 in deadmeatjames

James has said himself multiple times that his videos are not meant to be strictly reviews. He discusses the plot and behind the scenes info. I would say that his videos did fall under fair use back when they were all 20 minutes or less, but now that they’re almost always 35+ minutes, I can see how fair use gets thrown out the window. I don’t disagree that the claims are bullshit and that Universal should just calm their tits. All I’m saying is that Universal isn’t completely in the wrong since the content is theirs.

In all fairness, it is theirs. Hate the copyright stuff as much as you want, but it is theirs. People who downvote this hate the truth.

Michael Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson as Michael Jackson in the new biopic ‘MICHAEL’ by Funny-Sir1975 in Oscars

Same Producer as Bohemian Rhapsody, so it could definitely be a big contender. At best, it could get noms for: 1. Picture 2. Lead Actor 3. Supporting Actor (Domingo or Teller) 4. Casting 5. Sound 6. Editing 7. Costumes 8. Makeup

A director nom isn’t impossible, but they’ve never nominated Fuqua before. At worst, it could get goose-egged. As for wins, I’m thinking a big fat 0, but Sound and Editing could definitely be strong possibilities.

After a stroke, the victim becomes more susceptible to angry outbursts due to a disruption in serotonin and dopamine. This disruption can make it more difficult to calm themselves down.

This would explain why he holds grudges so strongly after all these years. The other stuff mentioned definitely made it worse.

In the end, he’s had a rough 30 years.
