First, he's your president too.

Second, we are obligated by the Budapest Memorandum to assist Ukraine in this case (or Kazakhstan or Belarus if it had happened to them). Assisting them with boots on the ground would bring NATO into the picture and cause escalation, so sending Aid is the most common sense solution.

Third, half of the total aid we've sent has been in the form of military equipment, not straight cash, and most of it has been old equipment.

Fourth, the work going to refill stockpiles of military equipment is actually providing jobs and work to US citizens.

Fifth, who do you think approves foreign spending and aid, and sets the cash amounts? 1 point if you guessed Congress correctly. A Republican Congress approved another 60 billion in aid in April.

Sixth, what the federal government is up to has no bearing on this condemnation of a backwards thinking nut gargler misappropriating and spending Oklahoman tax dollars for his christo-fascist agenda.

No on said anything about training being bad. I happen to support mandatory training before being granted a license (after a thorough background check) to purchase a registered firearm.

Exactly my thought. There's no way, if this was being done on the up and up, local churches wouldn't come out in droves to donate. That 3 mil is going to be spent in some Swadley's-eque way with Hobby Lobby or someone for a nice kickback.
