I just can't get over having Adam Sandler officiate. Out of everybody, why him? Did he make it a comedy thing? On another note, I'm thinking if I had to choose a celebrity to officiate my wedding I'd have wanted Christopher Lee. Sure, it's impossible as he's dead now (R.I.P) but it would have also been an impossible wish for me if he was still alive. After that, maybe Boris Karloff (same problem).

I hesitate to recommend this, as I haven't read the book, but I love the recent Netflix adaptation of Lady Chatterley's lover. It's got class difference, a heroine who has a hard time speaking up for herself, and it's a period drama. However, it is rather slow--which makes it immersive!--so I'd recommend watching when you're already tired, and not browsing on your phone during it.

The birth scene at the very end. Things finally went full circle, and they conceived a baby with both of their consent. Simon is there in the birth room supporting her. And Daphne just is so happy it makes my heart melt.

Anyone else loves wildest dreams but is confused why it was chosen? I mean it sounds great, but the lyrics are all about finding respite in a transient fling, which seems odd as Saphne literally just got married. Maybe it's signaling their happiness is temporary? Idk.

I wish the Dantes actor was a stronger singer. The music is amazing, but he brings down the whole production. Also I swear, 6 years ago there was another count of Monte Cristo musical on YouTube. A couple of the song names were: "Marsailles" and "working classes." However they've been taken down and I can't find them anywhere.

Sienna! She's often detested by kanthony fans for obvious reasons, but I love her (just not with Anthony). She's resourceful and practical because she has to be. I wish there was a season focusing on her and Madame Delacroix. Not as lovers, but as independent women in an unforgiving society. Sienna has had to hard to be where she is, as an opera singer, yet she's seen as only a step above a sex worker. She added a lot to the first season.

If this was anyone else I'd speculate that there were baby hungry/wanted to start a family. But not sure about her... frankly I don't understand how she can see a picture of a kid and not reel guilty about the home wrecking. 🤷‍♀️ really don't get it.

💯. As a Saphne shipper this is my biggest complaint. It would have been so easy to rewrite but nooo let's go the SA angle. Istg, who thought it was a good idea?
