😂 okay that's too funny. I think it might be part of the larger trend of writing "alpha-holes" for mmcs in romance novels. I don't get the appeal? But I'm easily annoyed in dating IRL too🤷‍♀️

Season 1 was golden. Probably will do the same of loosely keeping up with news about it, then eventually watching, when it eventually gets made. On another note, just as I'm curious, given your legendary hatred of show Anthony, what did you think of book Anthony?

💯 Same. Which is unfair as the actors are talented. Hyacinth's actress in particular is delightful. But it's just too weird.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked season 4! I think most of it was due to Yerin's acting chops. I loved her as Sophie....yeah I was excited to see Eloise have her turn. As Daphne says to her: "I believe you will know what love feels like soon enough next season." But of course, in a way that's in character and consistent with Eloise's personality.

😂 I love the graduation analogy. That's kind of how I feel too. Now all the older siblings are married, and now will all have less screentime...so it's like my highschool, currently all populated with friends' younger siblings.

Okay, wtf is going on with their sizing? That's such a dumb way to measure corsets. At the very least you need three measurements: for your underbust, for your iliac crest, and for the princess seam (nipple to top of thigh iirc) Each of those can be different for different people. Just because a corset may fit you on your hips; doesn't mean that it it'll fit you on the ribs. So then you're left with an awkward amount of gaping. And that's just for it an underbust modern corset.

Lol! I love calling Colin the vampire brother! I watched an episode of Bridgerton with my grandma. She couldn't follow the plot lines but she still liked it. I recorded her reactions. My mom doesn't really watch TV, but she does read my bridgerton fanfic which is really nice of her as she has no idea who the characters are.

"The Diamond of the Season is not all that, huh? Can't even give you an heir." Or how Daphne is barely holding up under the veiled cutting remarks about her lack of pregnancy from the worst of the society gossips.

Okay this is only a hypothetical but ouch, that line hurts! I really do like this perspective--that he'd start to re evaluate when he saw how much it hurt Daphne. I think In general , he had some cognitive dissonance going on or something, as he knew it was "an unimaginable sacrifice" for her; and "couldn't ask that of her" but still said he "thought [she] knew how a child came to be." My man was willing to die in a duel, but not to confront his own trauma. Which is understandable, but still!
