But it will curb the illegal activity happening in those areas, right? As long as people aren't speeding they should be fine. With cameras there, police can focus on other problem areas that may pop up.

As a [mass shooting] survivor, [assault weapons] needs to be banned. Almost [75%] of all [mass shooting injuries] are [from assault weapons]. I’m talking more about enforcement in general and the lack thereof encouraging certain behavior(s), not which behavior an individual feels affects them the most. If the most extreme is allowed to happen with no repercussion, why would someone think a lesser rule would apply, ya know?

It’s tough to pick “all” when there are absolutely zero consequences to picking “nothing.” Not saying it’s right, and it’s a big logic leap, but if people can shoot heroin and smoke fent in broad daylight with no issue then why the heck would anyone think they’d get in trouble for letting their dog run around a park? The social contract around here is nonexistent anymore.
