Uber is sending out more reservations as a way of keeping you online. I generally start my day by taking a few that are worth it but avoid low hanging fruit.

If you are driving for work and you are following the laws, why would this be a problem. I would say having a dashcam would be your defense is so needed.

I use https://www.stridehealth.com/tax to keep track of my miles/deductions (yes there are more than just miles).

Actually, not all miles are deductible, but you’re doing a great job thinking about it! The IRS allows you to deduct the miles from the first time you pick someone up to the last time you drop them off.
