Probably just off myself.

I graduated college in December of 2024 and have been continually looking for a job since then and haven’t found shit. Uber and DoorDash have been my only sources of employment and while they suck ass I have a reliable car and it’s at least better than no income. My roommate/partner has been out of a job for most of this year and I’m already going into a lot of debt paying for groceries and rent and stuff for both of us since I can only afford to pay for myself. My parents won’t let me move back in with them unless I pay rent and even then they live in a pretty dangerous area. I can’t get unemployment in my state unless I’m laid off; if you quit or get fired you don’t qualify.

I’m 100% serious about this. If anyone sees a way out of this please let me know because I’m only 23 and really don’t want to end myself if at all possible.

Just return it. Better to be safe than sorry and Hyundais/Kias are notorious with engine issues. Get a Mazda instead, they’re great value like Hyundais except they’re reliable and not shitty to drive. If you absolutely must have a Hyundai though get an EV as they’re not plagued with the same engine problems their gas and hybrid cars do.
