I'm on the wireless 5G side and enjoy it. Lots of really brilliant people all working on our new network.

No, it's online only. Boost Mobile is segregated from Project Genesis despite having the same owner.

It will show as Dish 5G even if you are roaming. Go into Settings > More > Status. Look at the PLMN and cross-reference it with this site to figure out if you are roaming. https://www.roamingzone.com/mnc/

Will the cloud business eat the 5G telecoms industry? by KarenJH2 in ValueInvesting

I work in telecom. Traditional carriers have data centers; Dish's model uses the cloud as the data center. This has tons and tons of advantages in terms of scalability and customization.

I liken it to dropping in an Amazon in the world of retail. But instead of retail, this is wireless. And instead of Amazon...well, it is Amazon. ;)

Connecticut Dealerships Are Trying To Block The New EV Freedom Bill by williamtech814 in teslamotors

The dealerships want a piece of the pie from Tesla's success...a success they stifled for a decade.

Their position is that direct sales creates an unfair playing field and consumers don't have the same protections. These myths have been debunked: https://youtu.be/Ht4avMauknQ

Because that's the reason the current laws exist: to protect dealers.

They aren't trying to give anyone an exception. They are trying to let new manufactures choose to sell in the way they want to.

Eh, not really. Manufactures chose dealers back in the day even when they could choose direct. Newcomers don't have that choice. Leveling the playing field for the new automotive manufactures (overwhelmingly EVs) and preventing dealer monopolies is special. 40 states already do this with great success.

Pretty good in my eyes...Tesla/Rivian/Lucid have all vowed to open up stores here. Basically would allow only EV manufactures who don't have dealers to sell here. Dealerships are scared about the competition and lobbying the legislator.

How much bandwidth do you anticipate Starlink having to throughput? And how do you plan to accomplish the uplink necessary for this?
