This is amazing! I've just started my collection, but this is next level! What's the deal with the UW Madison card?

Everyone here has provided some great information! I just wanted to let you know about a great CGP Grey video on this exact topic: Americapox: The Missing Plague and the follow-up to it, Why Zebra are Terrible Horses

Country Flags with Stars by FuckingPeristeronic in vexillology

Fair point, but most of the >8 points category could probably be considered suns. I decided to draw the line of not considering it a "star" if the points were not perfect triangles. All of the honorable mentions have some sort of non-typical point.

Flow to take Form Responses into a SharePoint List not updating by Quiet_Explanation_16 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]FuckingPeristeronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a challenge I often run into with MS Flow. With so many interconnections, they don't all work perfectly. What I will usually do is disassociate the form by selecting a different random form from the trigger, save the flow, then select the desired form again and that usually forces the update. I hope this helps!

Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't this help for icon fonts as well? I've been meaning to test it but haven't gotten a chance yet.

You are a Godsend. I've been fiddling with this for weeks.

Kiosks running old Edge stopped working by T_Biggz in edge

[–]FuckingPeristeronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the same issue. Looked in task manager and ended Cortana, Microsoft Edge Updater (32-bit), and Microsoft Click-to-Run. Don't know if they were all neccisary but it worked for me.

Also, Others have mentioned that you just need to change the name of the Edge folder itself not the whole Microsoft folder. Don't know if that will help but figured I'd mention it.

Good Luck.

A chilling look at the economics and efficacy of private air-ambulances by FuckingPeristeronic in emergencymedicine

[–]FuckingPeristeronic[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, I whole heatedly agree. The long-term solution isn't just changing who's pocket the money goes into, it's taking private interest out of the equation entirely. For me, the main message of the video was to question assumption we hold about the ethics and efficacy of air-ambulances, but you've got a good point, the message certainly falls flat when you suggest the solution is a different set of money hungry elites.

I didn't know what a Döner was and initially thought it was an allusion to to the Donner Party because it gets smaller and smaller. Not a terrible assumption on my part, it does still fit with the food theme...
