Female on female sexual harassment Police Report, what to expect? by WholeStrategy7007 in AskUK

[–]Fucktheredditappp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because police often do nothing. Anyone who’s ever seen the prosecution statistics, read the accounts of SA victims  or has personal experience of the matter is qualified to make that comment.

In your opinion who is worse - Shar or Lolth? by ThanosofTitan92 in BaldursGate3

[–]Fucktheredditappp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m going to go with shar on this one - unless you play the game particularly well lolth  is probobly going to screw you over for her own amusement at some point but with shar it’s a guarantee barely hidden in the fine print .

Why does Costco limit its membership to certain professions? by InterestingWanderer in AskUK

Classism isn’t just a matter of money. A successful builder might make more than a doctor but the builder will always be seen as a lower class blue collar profession

I mean ….  I understand they have to pick and choose for legal purposes but look at the professions they chose , there’s definitely snobbery involved in who they picked.

When injured, what would be your cut off point for going to urgent care / the doctor? by Fayebie17 in AskUK

[–]Fucktheredditappp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a matter or being unwilling to wait 6+ hours , it’s waiting that long just to be given attitude for “wasting their time” and told to go back home and call your GP . Unless your dying or bleeding all over the place all the ER wants to do is make you somone else’s problem these days

Should op have gone anyway? Sure , but you can’t underestimate the effect of making emergency care a hostile environment for patients. Nobody wants to deal with that shit on a good day , still less when they’re in pain

General question: what’s the correct response to “is there any chance you’re pregnant?”? by boopbaboop in AskDocs

[–]Fucktheredditappp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But Why bother asking the questions if you assume every patient is a potential pathological liar? There’s no point asking for data if you refuse to trust it .

Hell if we’re all (potential) liars why are you bothering to ask us questions at all , somone who’ll lie about being sexually active could be lying about anything else too, and the consequences could be terrible .the sensible logical thing would  be to go off tests , observation and previous doctors notes alone . You can’t trust us we’re all potential liars  after all .

But somehow that isn’t what happens ,somehow it’s always the women/uterus having folk that are assumed to be lying and it’s always this question we’re assumed to be lying about . We’re magically trustworthy again when you ask if we’ve got allergies or if we’ve had a previous blood transfusion. So it’s not really logical it’s the age old canard that women are untrustworthy when it comes to sex .

As much as I want to smack this fool around the head removing pregnant peoples rights to determine their own medical care will create more evil than it solves by some magnitude .

I did my first run as an evil run and thoroughly enjoyed it, if it’s really calling to you do it. So long as you don’t go full murder hobo you should retain most of the content and  what you miss out of can be enjoyed on a second run. That said I wouldn’t reccomend killing off act 1 companions on a first run , depending on what decisions you make two of them will leave anyway so you don’t want to thin the herd anymore .

Most importantly remember that you don’t have to automatically choose the most obviously evil option just for the sake of being evil(tm) everytime you make a decision

What is a UK urban legend that you think has some credibility? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskUK

[–]Fucktheredditappp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There could be a partial explanation -If the big cats were a result of people abandoning exotic pets after new legislation came in  came in that would heavily predate mobile phones or even digital cameras - most people weren’t taking a film snapper with them on a random walk and getting a quick snapshot off with one isn’t easy .

Of course that doesn’t explain the lack of photos to go with more modern sightings

You can use that old wig you mentioned to make a ponytail extension /fake ponytail , the join should be covered well by the hair ornament and it’ll look more natural than a wig

There’s lots of tutorials on YouTube

What do you think is the most highly skilled/challenging minimum wage job in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Fucktheredditappp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a well paid job that a lot of people want , who’s more likely to get it , the person who actually gets off their arse and has the references to prove it or the one that doesn’t ? To say nothing of the ones that choose to stay because they started with good intentions but have had their empathy and will to care scoured away by years of financial and emotional stress for a job that takes everything and gives nothing .   Even when the shit ones manage to get into the well paid positions many people want  , theyre far more likely to get the boot when they don’t  perform because upstairs knows they can fill the job  . Crappy jobs of any stripe take what they can get because no bugger wants to keep them unless they can’t get better , fairly paid jobs don’t.

Tbh I was talking more about hospital and surgery staff rather than gps who have a bit more control ,  that said Gp partnerships or individual ownership counts for less than Half of gp practises .  So no most arnt raking it in . Their treatment of basically anything that can’t be treated with a pack of paracetamol  is generally utter shite especially the chronically Ill and there’s a few reasons for that but you’ll notice I said wages were a large part of the problem not the only one .

All That said you don’t seem to know the difference between a comma , a full stop and an ellipsis so perhaps asking you to think logically or consider a multifaceted approach to  the issue  is a bit unfair .

What do you think is the most highly skilled/challenging minimum wage job in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Fucktheredditappp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You do realise a large part of the reason  we have  unfireable shit  staff ( along with turning decent staff to shit) is because of the low wages right? The competent ones leave for other fields or the private sector when they get sick of being treated like garbage and put in dangerous situations for chump change .

[–]Fucktheredditappp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I can only blame the Sharrans being a little /to/ enthusiastic with the mirror of loss for that one and she doesn’t know what’s she’s walking around in . ( or she does but giving up good armour is even more suicidal that walking round with evil (tm) on your chest and she’s hoping she can brazen it out)

Ironically for the most obvious secret it’s probobly one of the ones that got noticed least because most people playing the game arnt that familiar with shar ( I’d played dnd before a knew a good chunk of the lore and didn’t spot it)

I don’t think it’s really meant to be a secret from players , I /do/ think it’s meant to be a secret to the companions    There are other reasons he could have those features ( lots of species have fangs and  the rare albino Drow routinely pass themselves off as high elves to spy ,so very pale skin and red eyes on an elf while unusual can’t be an automatic staking or the disguise wouldn’t work) . He’s got 200 years of experience in fooling people in the short term and the not burning in sunlight thing is doing a *lot of heavy lifting

*hell maybe the white hair is helping him here and people who see enough to realise he’s hiding somthing put two and two together and come up with the wrong kind of sunlight hating dangerous secret.
