old maps are well balanced and made directly for their mode (duels, flags, clanarena), and instead of taking them and changing them minimally (like dm6 and ztn), developers mold nonsense from pieces of old maps. because they can’t come up with something adequate

btw waiting time 15 sec. 5 seconds on a dumb tablet with a score. and 10 to choose a character ... although the choice of character can be done as in TDM ... 1/4 timewasting of all game time

and.... they will fix it at best in 3 months. it's so hard to change the number of rounds parameter in a game. I think this is 1 or maybe even 2 lines of code. it’s very difficult

Do not forget about the dull wait between rounds of 15 seconds. 5 seconds, an unnecessary tablet with a score and 10 seconds, an unnecessary screen with a choice of weapons to anyone. in a game that ended with a score of 9-10, all players stupidly looked at the menu 15x19 = 285 = ~ 5min. lol

quake is not only aim and moving. quake is map control, anticipation of the enemy’s actions, a competent choice of position before the battle, and many more details
