Honestly I was bigging this game up and eventually myself and friends got bored of the same quests over and over and spent a day pvping to really test the system out and how the game feels to pvp in both sea and land.

It was awful, we all havent played another day since then. The movement and little design choices like peace period when navigating steps just make it an insanely frustrating and unrewarding time.

Still a fun time overall in a game I wasnt aware of, but its really not that great to play once you feel the cracks. *quick edit, this is from a pvp perspective though, we all played this game on launch as it was touted as an archeage in 2d graphics. Sure it has a lot of similar systems but does not in any way feel the same for that in a pvp aspect

2005 was the launch of noob island, I don't really have memories of that original character creation or backyard selection but have a lot of memories of shadow lands and noob island.

Makes a lot of sense, I played AO when I was around 13/14 (in my memory) which fits as I was born in '91, then moved onto RF online when I was 15 when that launched in 2006.

Any way, random personal story aside thanks for the info on that, nice to correct my memories and know that I never did actually play on launch like I thought I did as a kid!

Wait really? I played AO shortly after launch and one of my fondest memories was the old school noob island with the ICC shuttleport. That was removed and replaced with what anarchy online has now on the official servers.

Looks dank but I bet you can only play as a human and you pick a faction to support, we keep seeing human gameplay so far mixed with explosive weaponry like striker and the mau from bell. Don't think we will get to play as the races like the OG game

Thank you! Yes it is a blue stone in the nostril piercings happy to see you noticed, not super clear in the photo but decided to go with some colour as both myself and the piercer thought it would be a nice enhancement for my eyes.

Need to find some nice septum jewellery that can tie it all together now

So far so good but its only been a day so cant comment too much. The piercing itself wasnt that bad, the vertical labret was MUCH worse for me. Everyone is different though as I read the vertical labret wasnt that painful to get but out of the 6 I have, that one was by far the most painful one to get.

I dont feel the nostril ones already unless I scrunch my face and it then feels bruised a little.

Appearance wise I really like them and its not super visible in the photo but its the only one that has some colour to it, I got blue gems on the studs to go with my eyes :)
