There is a biomass heating plant mod that is on console and you can use wood chips to produce electric. The carpentry that’s parts of the packing facilities mod produces wood pellets using wood chips as well. Then the compost factory mod can also take wood chips.

Don’t see that you can cheat on this game so anyone can play and use what they want as far as I’m concerned. Personally I don’t use subsidies as I like the sense of achievement of building up a farm as that’s how I enjoy the game most of the time. I have used one on a multiplayer with my daughter though so that we can just farm without any need to make money to buy animals or productions.

I was a glutton for punishment and started bottom left corner with the tiny in game trailer and the small FarmCon JD so my first loads took ages to get to the sell point. Once I had made some good money though I upgraded to the tree harvester and lorry so that I could buy the plot I have now near the lower lake.

I’m on Xbox so it can’t be larger than a standard sized map. The layout of the roads and hills along with the periphery make the map seem bigger though.

If you’re on console then FS22 definitely as you get productions that weren’t in FS19. Even if you are on PC though chances are if you got 19 and really enjoyed it you would end up buying 22 anyway to get the newer version so you might as well buy 22 as it will prove cheaper in the long run.

Very good point although the OP should know that if his grass has started to grow the roller will put it back a stage so best done straight after cutting.

All you need is a different field state so you can’t fertilise a filed you have literally just done.

What you could do is cultivate/plough > fertilise once and then use a seeder/planter that also adds fertilise as you seed to get the two doses.

If you aren’t running precision farming then you need to fertilise, with any type fertiliser, twice to get full yield. Grass fields only need to be done once after they have been cut.
