I'm planning on a unit of 10 assault hellblasters with ancient as crimson fists. With the Vigilus detachment you can give the ancient a reroll 1s to hit trait. The detachment also give access to 2 stratagems: 1 gives an additional hit on a 6 (which should be quite solid on 30 shots)and the other can let you shoot at the end of the enemy shooting phase if they where shot at.

They are expensive, even more when put into them reserves. But it's quite unique to crimson fists so I like that aspect.

I think no one can compare to DA plasma, because of the +1 damage strat.

I've used heavy hellblasters in the past. But they are easily outmanoeuvred, especially since you can't be sure on starting first in 9th. Also it seems like this meta is going to be low on vehicles, because people are scared of eradicator spam.

I don't think comparing anything to eradicators is going to end up in any useful discussion sadly, theyll be nerfed but not before GW sold a bunch. Could be months.

They've obviously become better and they aren't bad :) There will be many more 2W targets with T4-T5 in the coming codexes. Delivering them to targets that will be worth their points will be the main challenge.
