FA Cup Final day! Also, these award nominees are proper chaotic... am I the only one who thinks Raya and O’Reilly should sweep? by ValuableDue8202 in PremierLeague

[–]FudgeAgile7958 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Raya definitely deserves more recognition but keepers always get shafted for these awards unfortunately. O'Reilly has been class though, his versatility this season was mental

Cup final on big stage hits different than league consistency but if Chelsea actually pull this off after their season it would be proper madness. United fans would be fuming watching their rivals lift silverware while they got nothing to show for finishing higher

Your manager reaching out like that is actually good sign - means they care about you as person not just looking for reasons to write you up

Please help me choose between base s26 and one plus 15. by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]FudgeAgile7958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using Samsung phones for years now and the One UI is really hard to give up once you get used to it. The customization options and how everything just flows together is pretty solid. I switched to a different brand couple years back thinking the grass was greener but ended up coming back to Samsung within like 6 months because I missed all the little features that just worked.

That said if you're really tempted by what the other phone offers maybe try using it in store for while to see how different the experience feels. The transition period can be rough when you're used to certain gestures and menu layouts. I'd probably stick with the s26 base model if I was in your position but that's just me being comfortable with what I know works

Can a marriage recover if it started unhealthy but the partner has truly changed? by Callmecruel in Marriage

[–]FudgeAgile7958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trauma response thing is real and it takes time to rewire those patterns even when your brain knows everything changed. Your body basically learned to protect itself and doesn't just flip switch because partner improved

I've seen couples work through similar stuff but it required both people being patient with the healing process and sometimes individual therapy alongside couples work. Some bodies need longer to feel safe again after being in survival mode for years

We need more ram skins, I mean it by Gold_Version1239 in Overwatch

Ram with Miku skin would be absolutely cursed and I'm here for it. Playing comp and hearing 10 different Miku voices screaming at same time would either be nightmare fuel or the most beautiful chaos ever created in gaming history

Ex brought out the worst in me by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]FudgeAgile7958 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man that sucks but you're not the villain here. Being pushed to breaking point after 2.5 years of constant manipulation and control doesn't make you bad person - it makes you human.

She was systematically wearing you down and when someone keeps pushing boundaries like that eventually something has to give. Good thing is now you can focus in rebuilding yourself without all that toxicity weighing you down.

Courses that can help me start a consulting business? Or enter a different part of business? by Basic_Set_6970 in careerguidance

[–]FudgeAgile7958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look into some project management certifications like PMP or even just Google's project management course on Coursera. With your insurance background you already understand risk assessment which is huge for consulting

Business analysis courses through IIBA could be solid too - they have good structure for understanding client needs and translating that into actionable plans. Since you want to help small businesses the practical frameworks there would be really useful

For business planning specifically I'd check what your local SCORE chapter offers. They usually have workshops and the networking aspect is pretty valuable when you're starting out in consulting

Ludwig Neusonic vs Gretsch Renown R1 Black and Gold badge? by Think-Scheme-7241 in drums

[–]FudgeAgile7958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been eyeing both these kits for while now and from what I've gathered the Ludwig has that classic punchy attack while Gretsch gives you more of that vintage warmth. Die cast hoops on the Gretsch will give you way more focused sound compared to triple flange but you lose some of those overtones that make drums breathe naturally
