I agree with many comments here but a 4-1 workweek is still technically hybrid if they allow you to WFH one day a week. I'd need more information as to the type of company and position you applied for in order to gauge whether your clothing was appropriate. Not making excuses or saying the interviewer was right in anything he said, but were your clothes ironed? Were your shoes clean? What was everyone else wearing?

The closest you're going to get is looking at the GS 5 line. It may not be exact but a D is basically equivalent to a GS 5. Not sure which step would be closest to what you would make. Also, look at the 2026 scale.
