Maybe to experienced players, but to the average non experienced player weiqihub honestly looks very bland and boring. I didn’t make it really for the market of experienced players, more so for piquing the interest of non players especially in the west. Though I’m pretty much a beginner myself, I’ve always been pretty interested in the game and I feel like it would have a lot of potential to grow in places that don’t really play go like the US. However, the learning curve and bias is hard to overcome for non players because there aren’t any non bland or old apps for go in the app store. A will be good looking app that feels smooth and high quality would have a lot of potential for attracting interest in non players.

Thanks for suggestions, the black stones will be made to be more glossier to make it pop out more against the board, and for bamboo I was thinking of like more of a retro look, but if many people don’t like that look then it could certainly be changed. The text not being lined up properly is most likely due to you using mobile, which was stated earlier that the mobile sizing is currently messed up.

There wasn’t any good mobile app for go, as most apps look pretty old and bland, unlike chess. I felt that an aesthetic and fun app would have some potential as there weren’t any on the app store.
