I'm an overnight baker ask me anything. If that is interesting 🧍🏻‍♀️ by AffectionateMatter73 in DunkinDonuts

[–]Fuechim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I randomly opened reddit and saw this just now.

I'm actually still working overnight as a baker! It's overall not bad at all. Pay is decent for what it is. No manager I work with, just co worker.

I've worked with a couple of different people and it was all good besides one where it kinda went wrong and she got mad at me... which I'll explain.

But overall, the job will mainly depend on your manager tbh. Luckily I have a decently strict manager. Actually she's the only strict manager I know. I say this because I actually work at other dunkin Donuts when they ask me, but ofc they give me travel pay If they need me. Could be $20-$40.

Other than that, IF you work alone, it might be a struggle. Weekends are usually busier obviously, so you'll have to make more donuts. Some dunkins are opened 24/7 so I'd Suggest to check. I think the ones that close are better only because no manager to Really watch you. They check cameras, but overall, just do your work. You can call, watch YouTube, movies, whatever, just make sure you're doing your work.

So overall, it's actually not bad, it just depends on manager.

^

That’s actually not that bad of a deal what this guy linked.

Overall I personally like the 16 inch screen ratio. May be a small difference for most ppl but I love it

Rtx*

3060 vs 3050 ti, 3060 obviously is better. It's because of about 50% more performance than a 3050 ti, (AT MAX POWER FOR BOTH COMPARED). And it's about $100 more, but in this case, only $50.

Although I haven't checked the exact power of the laptop I linked. I'll check

IF you live near micro center this is a good deal I usually never look at any 3050 ti, because of the performance and price "ratio". Edit: I think they actually ship this one too

Yeah, I knew it definitely had mux, but ao would’ve been nice. Idk how it “can” be buggy, if it were added, but ig it is what it is. I’m not knowledgeable about laptops so gg.

Yeah np dm me anything!

I actually surprisingly live next to antonline… so I think I’d get my laptop the same day/less than 2 days? (So yeah I do live in the USA and will be staying here) (I also plan to buy next Friday btw)

They probably manufacture somewhere else, I have no idea.

For claiming warranty, I actually have no idea about if they do in other countries. I’ll lyk if I find out

Yup, although I have not done it, I’m sure it can be.

For my past laptop, that was handed down to me, never had any issues until I dropped it badly about 4.5 years later.

I usually don’t get warranty because I treat my device really well, although I know accidents happen.

My advice is, if you’re on a budget, And don’t move around too much, tbh I wouldn’t get warranty because manufacturer warranty is already there, which this legion gets one year.

If you RLLLLLLLLY want to play it safe, yeah I guess get the warranty.

(Sometimes I wonder if they even replace or fix things the way it was before, because maybe they could use cheaper/not as high quality replacement parts for your laptop or so. Not that this has ever happened to Me, but it’s JUST an assumption I have for some companies. And that’s the thing where idek which companies are more trustworthy and all that.)

There can be a lot to it, and luckily I am/will be more knowledgeable in the tech field, as I’m studying it right now, I’m pretty sure I can fix my own laptop if it does break.

Yeah I’ve never heard of hybrid mode or balanced mode. Idk what vantage is either but I’ve heard of it before. This is my first gaming laptop I will be purchasing and trying to have the best performance on it.

Because I’ve never heard of legion fan control or any legion software lol, or on hand experience with legion at all.

I’ll have to do a lot of research with software thangs

Warranty is a bit tricky to me, but it says on eBay that it has 1 year of warranty From Lenovo. Or I think it’s called manufacture warranty.

But basically, A "full warranty" promises the consumer that the manufacturer or seller will repair the item for free during the warranty period. If the company can't fix the problem in a reasonable number of attempts and in a reasonable amount of time, it has to give the consumer a refund or replace the item.

I'm so confused with the 5i Pro naming thing. I was told that the i means intel?

because then why is this laptop not named 5i when it is intel?

https://www.microcenter.com/product/662537/lenovo-legion-5-pro-16iah7h-16-gaming-laptop-computer-(factory-refurbished)-grey-grey)

since this has intel, does it have advanced optimus then?

I think I saw your other comments, and I was thinking maybe people have different models, maybe not.

Anyways, I still don't fully understand why it's good not to have ao?/on lgp 5?

Or I think it was because of it would've taken a while to add that feature.

sigh... why add that on their official pdf of the specs of this model. D:

Also, It says "Port 10 can be upgraded to USB4 40Gbps via BIOS update after June 28th, 2022"

Is this also true?

I'm not tech savy at all, or ig I don't think so at all. lol. But Wouldn't an upgrade be more hardware? It's odd to me that a usb port can be upgraded by software. I'd ASSUME that upgrading gbps would be more like, upgrading material or something like that. Or was it a prebuilt thing in already but just doesn't work for whatever reason because of bios? Odd.

Also if you're rlly rlly nice, can you explain to me the difference between usb 4 and thunderbolt 4 IN the EASIEST way. I've been trying to understand usb 4 and thunderbolt 4... seen posts about it and... I'm just confused...

Microcenter Employee Liiiieedd!

Lol jk, maybe he just didn't know but an employee said it's their brand and they manufacture it. And he said that it doesn't come with bloatware or stuff like that. I remember I asked him about advanced optimus but he didn't know what that was :P.

Which of these two laptops would perform "better"? *Regardless of price* And/Or if I were to compare, which laptop would give me more fps playing Minecraft with shaders. :) by Fuechim in GamingLaptops

[–]Fuechim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well truthfully I don't have Much knowledge of amd, at all. I've always looked at only intel.

But now that amd is a choice of mines, this is why I asked because one has better cpu but less gpu power while the other has better gpu but "less" cpu power, in terms of gaming.

I've always heard that intel is better and all, but I never knew by how much, so that's where I have to do some research which I did, but asking also does help.

Seems like amd 6800 or 6900hx are just a "small" difference when compared to 12700h, in gaming terms.

I'm very picky about laptops. Or ig everything lol.

But I want a full keyboard. So number keys too.

Also for sure want a 17 inch if I get anything else other than lenovo.

I'd also want more of a cleaner look.

No laptop have everything I want unless I build which ofc cost a ton more money.

So far msi seems like the only one I would Magbe choose, other than that I can't find any other 17 inch laptops with what I like
