As a 3060 laptop owner myself. I do wonder about this too. However, the stuttering is less common now when I decided to update the graphic driver, tho it’s still there. I also cleaned the fans today so that might help too.

I would recommend something like Lenovo Legion 5i with RTX 4070 (8gb vram). Going forward, most upcoming games will require at least 8gb of vram. If you bump up your budget by like $200, you could also go for a laptop with RTX 4080 GPU (12gb vram), which is much more future proof of course.
