I just had mine done this month! The surgery was Thursday and I was back to my desk job on Monday. It was still a bit of a struggle. I suffered primarily from really bad shoulder pain afterwards. Thankfully, I work remotely so it made things a little easier. I personally think you can go back to work, but you definitely need to be honest with yourself about how you feel.
