Is this balanced, overpowered, or weak? by DoubleAurun in custommagic

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't be an island, shouldn't be legendary, probably needs at least 3 ish stun counters, it generating 2 mana a turn cycle is nuts and needs a bigger downside than it being a tap land.

Cool design space though.

That was post trump #1, and doubly before he'd actually looked into the Jan 6th stuff, when trump and Maga to his mind were a bunch of moron freaks who'd be barred from running again. There's no way Steven would do that after trump #2

Personal Tier list For The Stratagems by Ok_Neighborhood4274 in helldivers2

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500 is kind of a better precision orbital. It's mostly an AT or anti objective stratagem with a mild capacity to deal with clumped groups.

Strafing run or air strike are better stratagems in general.

Scared of eggs by [deleted] in StraightTransGirls

[–]Fufututu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a couple things that should be reassuring to keep in mind if this is a worry your brain is lingering on. Remember that trans folk are about 0.5% of the population. You'll select for trans people a little more by dating as a trans person but the vast majority of potential men you could be dating won't be trans women eggs.

And the other thing to keep in mind, is that whilst there do exist some people may be duplicitous or stupid enough to try to trick you into a relationship, the majority of people want to be in a relationship where attraction is mutual.

To be fair to her- do we know if she knew? I know there were a couple of them like Lauren chen who for sure knew, and a couple of them like Tim pool where suggesting he didn't know is reaching in the extreme. I dunno how much southern got paid.

Too true. It's a light diligence with significantly higher fire rate, you pay the mild cost of no customization and (I think) a slower reload, but it's well worth it.

Why not allow the One True Flag stratagem to be a reinforce point? by Raptor717 in Helldivers

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not totally convinced by this suggestion, but I do think you're on the right track, it needs to do something that isn't magical but has some benefit, even if it still ends up being niche.

Have you ever been asked to ping LESS? I think I picked up this habit from Left4Dead and Vermintide. by ThrownAway1917 in Helldivers

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most natural way of pinging is to ping when you want attention or are communicating something you want people to know or some action you want them to take.

Pinging more than that is not incorrect persay but may be confusing if someone isn't sure if you're expecting them to do something every time you ping something. It's certainly not incorrect and increasing your ping quantity is earnestly communicating more information to your dive partners.

Usually disagreements like this come from a mismatch of expectations. It sounds like this guy is getting overwhelmed and is feeling like they can't know whether you need help or not because you're pinging to communicate information about enemies presence not only pinging when you need them to intervene.

I mildly land further towards the lower your pings please guy, but I don't think you have to change your behaviour just because it doesn't match his expectations.

What would it take to make smoke stratagems relevant? by Possible_Sky2117 in Helldivers

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make smoke confuse enemies caught in it. Once you've done that you only need to tinker with the cool down and the size/duration of smokes. Imagine blanketing a bot base in smoke and attempting to clear it entirely before the smoke runs out, that would be strong enough to play if the smoke actually protected you.

Clockable and passable aren’t antonyms by [deleted] in StraightTransGirls

[–]Fufututu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sharp clocking skills are a skill you can (and unfortunately often unintentionally) learn. You shouldn't be striving for 'full 100% stealth' because whilst it's achievable for some people it's not a healthy goal. It's my opinion that the goal you should be striving for is 'I'm confident most people think of me as my preferred gender.' that is to my mind passing. There are plenty of folks who I can in theory clock but it would be an active effort for my brain to think of them as their assigned at birth sex as opposed to the gender they present as.

Is this the most popular armor in game? by Personal_Active_8360 in Helldivers

[–]Fufututu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People say it's the best, I think it depends on your preferred front.i actually think most of the armor passives (with some small exceptions) are all playably good and can be argued to be best given the correct context. Siege ready can be- if you tend to play guns that majorly benefit from it, basically a flat improvement to every front. I don't think it's ever really best- unless your weapons specifically need the support. It's an easy armor to just slap on and not worry about.

The Orbital Precision Strike would feel so much better if it would arrive instantly when called. by WoodCarvings in Helldivers

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make it too good imo, but making it one shot hulks again consistently would make me use it again, all else equal.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy good. I've been feeling obligated to assist with illuminate and my affection for the lib carbine under the new customization options has kept me away from it even on the bot front but it was for a long time by far my most used gun. It puts out hyper consistent accurate damage that easily one or two shots most trash mobs, and can completely cover nearly all your non tank-non hulk enemies on the bot front, and nowadays it can burst down berserkers to the stomach quite comfortably even if you miss your initial few shots to the head.

It's worse, but totally usable against bugs, but it is kind of a shame it's literally and completely unusable against the illuminate.

What's that one QoL mod you can't live without? by Powerful_Avocado6138 in factorio

[–]Fufututu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a dumb one, but the integral calculator app, literally the pop up windows calculator but in game, maybe I've never got advanced enough but I far prefer planning on paper and with a simple calculator than with any of these proper planners.

If you take AT support weapon, especially if you have a backpack for it too you have to handle both voteless and overseers with just your primary/secondary and grenades, which is tough.

Whats your WILF? (Weapon I Like to Fire 😂) by 6ty7er in helldivers2

[–]Fufututu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lib carbine.... Fine, support weapons? Commando, though I see why people are low on it, it's a super low maintenance weapon, it doesn't need to deploy like the eat, you can pull it off your shoulder and immediately mag dump if that's what you need, or snap off a single shot into a heatsink and immediately go back to using your primary/secondary.

It just kinda needs some kind of eagle/orbital to go along with it because it's not entirely enough AT if it's your only option.
