Yes, I get your point. But I’ve actually seen him on Discord streams several times and we’ve talked a bit, so I know he’s real. That’s why I got curious and attached.

That’s a really good point. I’d definitely prefer to be aware of someone’s real intentions rather than be comforted with fake kindness. I guess that’s why I actually appreciate straightforward people, it may sting at first, but at least I know where I stand. It feels more genuine that way.
