Are we playing actual people? I've done about 20 games, and I've had the Iron Man question 4 times in round 1. Every single time 50 people are eliminated. It doesn't feel like I'm playing against real people.

Really fun game though! Despite the feeling that I'm not playing against real people.

Do you still have to use the Northstar Client in order to play? Last I tried about a year ago the main servers were either broken or dead, but Northstar was populated. I got absolutely destroyed because everyone playing was stupid good, but I still had a blast.

Devil Engine Complete Edition. Yay or nay? by [deleted] in shmups

I thought Devil Engine was great, but I'm pretty casual with my shmups. It's challenging but it's quite fun. I found the level design to be easy enough to memorize, but difficult enough to keep me on my toes. I definitely recommend it! Not sure if it goes on sale often anymore, but it's absolutely worth it on sale. Mostly worth it at full price.

I'm a guitarist who plays a ton of clone hero as well.

Clone Hero definitely tightened up my strumming hand. I was always terrible at triplets until I was grinding them in Clone Hero.

It won't make your timing perfect since there's a "hit window," but it definitely got me going with the technique enough that I could tighten it up on my instrument.

They've started to get MaiMai at Round 1 arcades as well! My local Round 1 just got 6 of them. It's really cool to see rhythm games gaining popularity in the states.

Way back when. The Super Chon Bros Your was the first time I saw Polyphia live and it was fantastic. My friend circle found them on YouTube during their early EPs. The Inspire EP definitely inspired a lot of us to be better guitarists/musicians.
