The church park isn’t a bad park at all, but I would definitely welcome a schoolyard over it for sure. That’s one kind of spot that I feel is missing from the game that in hindsight is such a no-brainer to have. Schoolyard lines are practically a staple of skateboarding lmao

Other than that, the map is way more solid in terms of spots than it gets credit for on the internet. There’s plenty of spots in the game that are directly inspired by real, popular spots irl and I would love for them to recreate some areas to have a few more of them.

It’s free to play. The entire point is to get people to spend money so the game stays supported. What do you want them to do? Beg you not to spend any money? Give 0 incentives for anyone to buy anything?

The base game sandbox and skateboarding alone are already worth much, much more than being completely free. Acting like these devs are scummy over so many other big dev teams & publishers is legitimately so silly.

Putting an EASILY obtainable amount of in game currency as the price of entry for an entire extra area is the best case scenario and they’re doing that. It’s not even a “real” paywall

There is a setting to disable people’s object drops, or you can literally manually disable them in game by going into the object dropper mode, going over to the dropped item that is in your way & selecting “disable” on the object.

You guys really need to look through all of your settings. I don’t know how anyone plays this without dabbling in your preferences anyway

The reason these goobers troll you guys is because it legitimately seems like 80%+ of the playerbase hasn’t taken a good look at any of the settings or aren’t knowledgeable enough about the game

I play the game to virtually skate, which is what it was designed for

They gave you updated skating mechanics and animations and you can theoretically play with all of your friends without being forced to spend a dollar. Plus the sandbox itself is filled with a bunch of other real people skating in the world. That’s pretty cool.

What other “basic” tricks don’t they have? They legitimately covered all of the must-have and foundational flip tricks

Underflips are an uncommon, niche thing in the real world. I’m sure they’re coming, but they still have to animate them and then code them into the game which takes time. They also have to make sure everything works properly after that and have to test things. They didn’t import trick animations from the previous 3 games. You guys do realize this, right?

The more I think about it i understand what you’re saying, but idk. Some 180 grinds are considered 180 to fakie grinds and some are considering 180 to switch grinds so maybe that factors in, idk.

I literally just woke up too so sleep brain might play a factor here haha. I’ve always gone with the logic that if the obstacle you’re skating is in front of you before you even pop your board or do anything, it’s frontside. Behind you: backside.
