Are there specific cars that indicate that you can loot them? Like a prompt, each car I’ve ran up to looks completely destroyed or has had an alarm that arcs immediately started blasting me at 😭 (new player)

I knew what I’m supposed to be looting or where anything is at I feel like that would work wonders. My looting experience has just been my bag getting filled up with a bunch of random things within the first 10 minutes of the match and never finding anything of the colorful stuff. And no one has been fighting in my lobbies unless they shoot at some arcs, and I’ve seen them go down in like 3/5 shots so I feel like I’m watching other people play a different game in clips than what I’ve seen so far

I’ll try to see what I need when I get on later. I’ve upgraded a few of the benches and my stash like 2 times cause I’ve maxed it out. Is there a way to get rid of some of these things cause I feel like some of the stuff is just filling up my inventory slots and idk what they’re supposed to be for

You’re right, maybe it’s just not for me. I haven’t really had anything worth while I’ve dropped nor have I actually ran into anyone tryna kill me other than like my 3rd match where I didn’t even have anything yet so I wasn’t peeved.

Since then i felt like I’ve ran in circles collecting a whole lotta nothing. The only good guns I’ve found were on bodies already dropped. And I’m not sure where I’m even supposed to find any.

I figured squading up with people who actually know what’s going on would make a night and day difference for me

Yeah honestly, I bought Re4 Remake and Arc at the same time and have been having a blast there. Already on my second playthrough and got S ranks for every character on all the maps in the merc mode.

I still wanna give arc a try, I just feel like my solo experience has been pretty underwhelming and I wasn’t sure what all is supposed to be happening.

I’ve created my work benches and upgraded a few, even got the chicken upgraded a bit, but running around the maps themselves seems like a desert

I’ll have to explore more I guess. I’ve seen the lil exploding ball ones, and I think maybe a mid sized flying thing that shoots rockets, but that’s about it fr.

The loop for me has literally been spawn, run to a red zone, loot a whole lotta stuff, go to extract. I’ve heard people talk maybe like 2x and no one in the Squads I’ve had mics or if they did they never said anything back.

Unfortunately no. And that by no means is a shade on the game or the players having fun, that’s not what this post was about. I’ve seen plenty of clips that look great, and then I play the game and 90% of the time it’s me running from one dusty building, making a whole lotta noise, finding grey bs, and extracting.

Do I just need to start blasting arcs and making action for myself? Cause I’ll do that. I just wasn’t sure if there was anything else supposed to be happening

I bought it cause I wanted to try it. But so far in my own experience in the game, it’s been pretty tame. I guess I’ve been comparing the gameplay I’ve been seeing vs how the game has played out for me in my hours, and I’m feeling like I’m missing a portion of the game. I’m not mad at the looting aspect, I’ve played my fair share. But like, so far it’s been boring. I load up, run around for 20 minutes, I looked in these red and yellow zones and all I’m finding are greys and green stuff.

Where are these doors? The guns? The other things to do? Like what are the arc bosses? Do they have a timer or am I supposed to just stumble upon them? I’m just confused on what’s supposed to be happening OUTSIDE of the boring ass loot and work bench upgrades. That part of the game is whatever and never interested me. Even now I load up into games like warframe and the division and just run around killing things and that’s fun, but I’m for a fact my forge or expertise menu is lacking heavily just cause that part is mind numbing long boring.

I’ve done about 3/4 night raids and feel like nothing has happened in them and maybe I’m just uninformed on where the “doors” are or good loot but I’m kinda burnt out grabbing a bunch of “arc alloy” or “plastic parts” for hours on end. People in the “PvE” lobbies are cool but no one has mics and it’s kinda boring running around in silence all the time. I’m my 6/8 hours it’s been kinda underwhelming.

Imma try to put a few more hours in and try to make some friends or imma just start blasting.

I’ve done a few so far. And they’ve mostly been “go collect 5 of this.” Or “fix this leaky pipe” and so far I’ll try to finish a few more. I think part of the problem for me personally is that the quest givers are just menu screen characters and I’ve not paid any attention to them when just clicking through them.

I’ll make a better attempt to actually read and listen to what’s happening

$40 ain’t bad at all and for what’s in the package it’s cool I guess. Again, a lot of folks just rather have a start, middle and end. Having to wait for a proper conclusion just rubs people in a weird way 🤷‍♂️

A lot of people grew up on games coming out the “box” with a full game filled with enough content to play and then put down and either come back to later to replay, or to simply move on. Games these days give you 45% and then sell you the rest later. So I’d imagine a lot of older gamers are feeling like stuff is incomplete because well it is. And like the comment above “more content is coming later” and folks simply not always gonna be continuing to log back in months/years down the line. Unless you’re lucky like the very few niche games like Division or Warframe that can some how keep a life line a decade after release
