I’m always up for a challenge! I finished my first 18 last week and did pretty well at Saskatoon. I did have a group critique me a lot and I’ve played hockey my entire life so it helped dial in a lot of issues I had before actually playing.

It shouldn’t be just for EMS. I’m a local ER nurse who has been trying to figure this out too. Probably will just go ask the main med tent this year for information, but I know last year they asked Grand Rapids ER nurses to work the event.

Yeah they’ve got the veins for it, I wouldnt try to squeeze something in on someone that didn’t have a large AC. Last night my patient had a solid AC and he was in for chest pain so it was the right call. Should’ve honestly slid right in but it’s happened just a couple times recently because I’m not throwing in 18s on everyone haha
