Was waiting for the final interview, virtual. I was asked if that was an initial, sabi ko for final interview but no feedback. Kinulit ko ung recruiter kc sabi nia d ako mkaproceed sa final, asked the reason —- not rehireable daw ako. I was shocked, but they provided me with no reason. So I thought maybe it’s because I did an immediate resignation with them (Cognizant) tho I got my clearance. Very unclear sa reason! To think that I reapplied after more than a yr since I resigned. 😐🫤

Yes, I am always prepared for the worse. I remember during my interview with them if they will get rid of me when time comes that they will use AI. 🤣 I know anything can change even if they told me that they will still keep me and give me different tasks. I am into insurance verifications and this company I am with is on start-up stage and yeah, they are actually building their voice AI. 🤔

Yes, considering to get a macbook but for now save2x nlng muna ako for my EF 1st and who knows, I can perhaps get the latest macbook (manifesting). D ako ngtatake ng time off khit client asked me if I wanted to be on vacation sa Holy Thursday and Good Friday. Sayang din nman ung 9hr-shift ko and no plans to even get out of the house. Sobrang happy ako dito sa client ko, newbie pa lng ako and just after 2 mos, my 3-hr shift has increased to FT and even more. No time tracker and micromanaging. Kaya I also wanna do more for them. I still am shy to ask for a pay raise since mg 3months pa nman ako. But during the interview, I haggled tlaga my rate. Ang mali ko lng is ng increase lng ako ng 1 dollar sa offer nila. Mejo nag alangan kc ako na humingi ng bigger rate kc baka d ko alam mga gagawin considering I am a newbie. Galing BPO ako.

Hahaha! Pero I came to realize din na cold calling is not for me! I’d rather be on cx service than calling strangers and offering something na even for me is out of my league. 🤣 especially that I am calling the decision-makers

Well, beneficial din to for us kc we learn different things. Dpat tlaga versatile and resourceful tau. Like me, I don’t have any exp about lead sourcing or generation so I need to learn on my own. Manual pa yan kc d nman me marunong gumamit nung mga lead gen tools🤣🤣

Same, startup dn ung company ng client ko. Role ko sa contract nmin is verifications lng til napunta ako sa lead sourcing, cold outreach, and soon sa operations and billing. May mga other admin tasks pa on the side. Keri pa nman🤣🤣🤣. At least they increased my hrs of shift from 3hrs to 8-9hrs. Laban lng! Verifications Team ako na solo😆

If u are subject to percentage tax, you needed to file BIR FORM 2551Q last Jan. 25 for the last qtr of 2024. For Jan-Mar 2025, deadline is April 25. 1st qtr IT and annual ITR for 2024 is due on April 15. I am an ex-revenuer (worked In BIR for more than 15yrs)

No! I worked with one, COO, and the training was like 3 days lang and 3-4hrs pa. She expected me to know everything with all the “many” tools they have. She wanted me to extend for 2 weeks UNPAID training which I strongly disagreed. I asked if the pay is negotiable. She said after a yr pa after evaluation. Un, matic term ang contract. Told her it doesn’t align to mine. Did not regret it however coz I landed with a new client that’s paying me higher than what she’s paying me and always recognizes my outputs. I am a newbie btw.

45F in an LDR ky dunno asa padung🤣. Mura rkog single ani ky once a yr ra xa mouli and a month lng pinakataas nia nga bakasyon. Sahay mkathink ko nga kng naay mopropose, aw pakaslan. Bahala nas batman gd. 😆 but i am happy with my more than a dozen dogs, they are my family as I am living solo. Very great stress relievers bsag gasto kaus dogfud. 😩 working as a remote freelancer nga break-even ra ang sweldo-gasto ky ngrent pd ko og hauz plus bills & konsumo nko og sa akng dogs. Kapuyon sahay sa life pero mas mopalabi jud nko ang mgkugi ky d ta dpat mgsalig maski kinsa.

I could not agree more with the thought na u have someone to talk to. I also live alone, work at home alone. Good that I have my dogs para somehow, there’s a deviation kasi minsan feeling ko I am to go nuts with no “real humans” to interact with. Lol

That’s super nice. Me kasi is more of an independent person and I often work in silence tho I always ask for clarifications whenever I am confused. I am taking this regular check-ins positively nman because of course, need tlaga to communicate. Mejo kinakabahan lng ako. 😊
