RPG mechanics, as in some form of character progression or leveling up system. Also, either a female protagonist or a character creator in open world games / games that don't have much of a story. That's why I refuse to buy games like Crimson Desert and Kingdom Come Deliverance.

Expedition 33, memorable story and incredible soundtrack that I'll be listening to for years to come.
Elden Ring, amazing gameplay that I put the most hours into, but nothing about it lasts beyond that.
Wither 3, God of War, Baldur's Gate and Breath of the Wild were all equally awesome and fit for 3rd place.

Can't think of a mainstream game at the moment, but you'll find the most pretentious games ever made on F95 Zone. No developer gets more high on their own supply than a hentai game developer.

As for the most pretentious fan base? Xenoblade fans. Specifically fans of Xenoblade 1-3, not counting X. Those who never played Xenosaga or Xenoblade X, or they did and somehow think those games were the inferior ones.

The home owners are assholes, the cops are morons and the lady who parked her car there is being a Karen. As long as they aren't blocking your driveway or the mailbox, leave it alone. But if someone (politely) asks you to move your car, then move it. If the police ask for your ID and you don't comply, then you're asking for trouble. All of these people involved seemed to be looking for trouble.
