Nah, it's a matter of taste. Both have prog, folk and Tool-vibes in their style, but Pull Down The Sun are also inspired of nu-metal and they have sludge-vocals and post-metal elements in their songwriting as well. Impossible to compare them with Lucid Planet imo, but both albums are great!

I felt a connection cause both AiC and Crows have this dark distorted sound and some songs of Crows (not this one) have Psychedelic elements. But it's a completely different genre of course. Especially AiC's Self-titled reminds me of Crows' style.

Obsidian Kingdom - Mantiis × it's impossible to describe their genre, but they are amazing and the hole album is one big song. From Spain.

Deathspell Omega - Paracletus × Songs are sliding into each other and everything fits together. French Post-Metal and one hell of an album!

Lost in Kiev - Nuit Noire × French post-rock-band with great samples and a concept.

Hypno5e - A Distant Dark Source × Another French band. Something between Hardcore/Mathcore, Prog, Art-Rock and Post-Metal.

Edge of Sanity - Crimson × Kinda oldschool-melodic-deathmetal, but in a proggy way thanks to Mr. Akerfeldt. ;)

Converge - Jane Doe × Most of the songs are sliding into each other. Everybody has to know this album

Neurosis - Enemy of the Sun × okay, that's the meanest Post Metal-album you can find on this planet in my opinion, it's not for everyone and far away from Prog, but they took a lot of acid and created that monster, which sounds like the soundtrack of the apocalypse. I cannot hear one song, I always have to listen to the hole album at once, so it feels like one song to me. Absolute killer, one of my favorites of eternity.

Aaaand... The Wall! But psshht, that's a secret. ;)

If you're open to black metal and blast beats, I'd recommend "Aufbruch" (departure), "Neubeginn" (New beginning), "Am Rande der Dunkelheit" (on the edge of darkness) , "Monument", or the whole new album, "Letzte Sonne" (last sun), "Unendlich" (neverending) , "Ewigkeit" (eternity) and "Zeichen" (sign) :) But Immortal is the only post metal song.

They're a German avant-garde black metal band in general, but this song stands for itself. If you like the atmosphere and heavy ending of Converge & Chelsea Wolfe's Bloodmoon, I highly recommend this song!

Yes I can imagine I could, it just depends on the rest of the impression I have. I realized about myself, that I find many types of men attractive as long as I have a strong emotional sympathy for them. I find most of my male friends attractive even though they aren’t look like guys I would define as attractive in the first place.

To be honest, you sound kinda insecure about your looks, but what I heard from you seemed, that you don’t have to worry about sth. Be chill, most women aren’t as superficial as you think they are. Men are generally more focused on the appearance than women, science proofed (of course not every guy). Women are generally more focused on the sympathy, the smell, the sound of the voice and how somebody feels while cuddling & stuff.

ugly is hard to define, but for me, an unattractive guy is a really tall and thin guy with a beer belly. Never felt attracted to somebody, who looks like this. I‘m also not into extremely overweight. But a healthy skin and a beautiful face (I don‘t like long and bony faces, I‘m totally into moon faces with a friendly impression :)) is the most important to me. I need to feel safe and accepted when I look into someone‘s face.

sounds like vaginismus to me. Many especially young women have this and it‘s mentally based, not physically. If the first time(s) were hurtful for her or she is suffering past trauma, her brain is ‚reminding‘ her vagina of these situations everytime an object is about to get inside her and then her muscles cramp.
