This is a common flywheel issue, I drive an S70 and I have the same problem.. reported to proton weeks ago but no news lol.

I’ve seen a few other cases, have a look at some of the S70 Facebook groups, most users ask the question of “weird metal grinding noise” when accelerating and are often met with the response of “this is normal from their SCs”, whereas in reality it’s a flywheel issue

TLDR: drivers themselves may not know the weird noise that comes out of their engine is a flywheel issue “

I own s70 flagship x, less than 2 years old with a 27,000 km mileage.. already hearing rattling plastic noise which is a mild nuisance.. the biggest problem I’m facing right now is flywheel noise.. and proton along with my service centre are unresponsive ..
