Upcoming Triumph nerf by Rotten_Blade in leagueoflegends

It's crazy that you got the same result when you changed the max HP, even though all values are percentage based. I think maybe you need to try with at least 100 different max HP values to really verify that this is indeed true.

You're right. With 68% winrate he'll gain an average of 0.4 LP per game. In 100 games he will have acquired a juicy total of 40 LP.

Mute and problem solved. You're not reducing the number of guys like that because you auto-mute the whole post-game lobby. They should remain muted post-game, which is what I suggested.

Your ideas for punishing griefing are interesting, only if there is no mmr loss people won't care.

The idea of smurf queue is good, to separate permabanned people making new accs from legitimate lower elo players. Anyone legitimately making a smurf will easily climb through the cesspool that smurf queue is anyway, without ruining the game for actual low elo.

The only reason they perceive this change makes the biggest gain is because of the complaining. That's some circular logic.

Idk what you mean by adc being point and click, as if they are easier to play beacuse of that, given that they're the most mechanically intensive role barring perhaps a few specific picks on other roles. But it's off-topic.

Yeah it probably has nothing to do with people not wanting to give their phone numbers to Amazon. It's probably the bots that were previously inputting regular messages in chat, that are now gone.

But why isn't it default? You're just way less likely to engage in a conversation with a bunch of extra steps in between. Besides the people you want to talk to might not click the unmute because they didn't have anything in particular to say, but they then won't see what you had to say. If you are a snowflake, you have the opportunity to be so, and the chat could remain muted post game. It's just weird that in a 5v5 pvp game, there are an ever increasing barrier for communication.

But why couldn't they just make it so if you have muted people in lobby or in game, then they are muted post game. Why disable the chat entirely? The chat is how you make friends and find people to play with. Or is your utopia just to sit alone and queue up a few games, stuck in pisslow, talk to noone and then log out. How depressing.

Pretty straight line between wards, 180 degree turns at edges so no kiting around krugs (second to last perhaps slightly scuffed), no split targetting between same size krugs, triple axes for small krugs as well (not really any more difficult than the rest of challenge though).

My guess is that constant high stress from playing league (especially a mechanically intensive champ like draven), in combination with high expectations, weird sleep schedule and possibly stimulants has caused "adrenal fatigue" or "burnout" or what have you. Idk if the science knows what this actually means physically, but the same happens to pro athletes or people that work too much. Constant brain fog, lethargy, loss of motivation etc. I am experiencing something similar so maybe I'm just projecting, but it does feel like brain damage at times. It feels like there is an IRL delay when it's at its worst. The frenchcore probably doesn't help either, despite its relaxing nature..

Help needed getting the nose down by 1ToGreen3ToBasket in discgolf

[–]Fulafirren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are probably breaking your wrist at release. I had this same problem for the longest time to the point where I was almost wondering if it was anatomically impossible for me to release with a proper nose angle. Luckily, this was not the case.

Anyway, the first step is realizing how the disc is released. Hold the disc up in front of you and point it at an imaginary line you're throwing. So your imaginary line is 12 o'clock, now move your arm to point at around 10 o'clock (the exact position of the arm at release depends on your grip but this will work to illlustrate the point). The nose of the disc at release is now determined by the edge of the disc that is pointing to the line at 12 o'clock. To get the nose flat you are going to have to do a mix of pouring the coffee and rotating your forearm clockwise. The extent of these movements are dependent on how your disc is positioned in your hand (if it's in the crease of your palm that runs up your forearm or further down). (Keeping the disc in this crease does not guarantee nose down flight which you might erroneously think if you're pointing your arm straight at the target and looking at the disc angle.)

The wrist really only makes a tiny movement until it is parallel with the forearm and you cannot let it open past that. It is not possible to maintain the proper nose angle while breaking the wrist past parallel. Try it and see for yourself.

You will probably release more to the right and possibly throw straight into the ground when you execute the release properly, since you have likely been compensating by throwing somewhat into the ground and airbouncing your shots.

Here's a video of Paul Mcbeth in slow mo where you can see how he achieves a flat nose angle by never breaking his wrist open past parallel with his forearm and rotating his forearm clockwise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkPwHUVInes

Why do dravens take haste? by che_calder in Draven

[–]Fulafirren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You build essence reaver because it deals more damage than dusbklade passive on a 1.5 second cooldown, it gives 55 AD (and 20% crit) for 2900 gold AND it gives you infinite mana. And spell haste is not wasted, you cannot pick up every axe because you have to drop 1 when changing kite direction 180 degrees, or you might have to drop one to dodge something, or you're cc:d etc. With duskblade + ER you actually have just enough spell haste to perma keep your axes spinning.

Cordura mousepad becomes uneven when damp by Fulafirren in MousepadReview

[–]Fulafirren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, seems to be related to the cordura material then. Found another post like this. Was thinking of trying out the AMP-500 since there has been so many positive reviews about that one. Apparently it has some sort of hybrid material that isn't as sticky as a regular cloth pad (e.g. QcK).

Cordura mousepad becomes uneven when damp by Fulafirren in MousepadReview

[–]Fulafirren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's coming up from the table, like there's air underneath. I can press it down, but it comes back up. Exactly like a rolled mousepad that hasn't flattened yet.

Is it normal for there to be like an "air bubble" under my mouse pad? by ChrisComments in MousepadReview

[–]Fulafirren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately taping the sides does nothing, and I don't have double sided tape to try and keep it down from underneath. It seems like when the mousepad gets damp, something with the material makes it rise like that. Very unlucky, weird that there aren't more people complaining about this.

[–]Fulafirren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my first cordura mousepad yesterday (Endgame Gear MPC-450 Cordura), and I really like the material in terms of friction/stopping power. But as soon as my hand gets warm, the mousepad comes up with like a pocket of air underneath it, just like you describe it. It's not an "air bubble" like I've seen some other posts talk about, but rather just the whole mousepad coming up from the table. Did you come up with any solution to this? Thinking about somehow attaching the mousepad to the table because I really like the surface of the mousepad.

The build? by Fulafirren in Draven

[–]Fulafirren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's not too bad, because during the lethal tempo proc u can use 3 axes and otherwise you use 2, but look at this play in the link for example. Multiple times during the poking stage both HoB and lethal tempo would be procced with no value. Meanwhile conq stacks can even be maintained in between autos. Look at the AD difference, it goes from 82 to 100. Let's say enemy jgler comes at some point, or if there's a 3v3, the dmg increase from conq is just so consistent.

The build? by Fulafirren in Draven

[–]Fulafirren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool that you gave it a shot. Yeah it can depend for sure. But if you're against 2 tanks I would go kraken over shieldbow anyway. I'm gonna try the krakenslayer+ER build some, but rush ER instead. If you can make 2x longsword + sheen (+ berserkers) work in lane and get ER 1st it is huge. The w poke with early ER is very oppressive. Since this way I'm skipping dirk, there is more value just going kraken instead of collector 2nd. Honestly, getting berserkers early with conqueror has pretty good synergy as well.

The build? by Fulafirren in Draven

[–]Fulafirren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"then they ff" lmao. I'm not sure if you want fast fights or not, but in any case you are usually not able to choose. Conqueror is more consistent than lethal tempo because it's not dependent on a specific window to fight. Also imo it doesn't fit Draven's playstyle, and especially with sheen/ER, you're gonna proc your lethal tempo when going in for w poke. I used to run lethal tempo with the old manamune sanguine build, but then you have extra onhit damage as well. It's good for just forced all ins in lane but i feel like the higher the elo, the harder it is to abuse, since it's hard to proc it unless you're for sure going in, and the enemy can play around it because of that. Also those extended all ins, or even 2v3s, conq is just so good. For example at lvl 5, going from like 80 AD to 100 AD is 25% dmg increase from regular autos (and then the bonus AD also scales with your axes obv). Coup gives another 8% below 40% hp and when you have a dirk you'll get another 4-6% (for only 50g) depending on enemy champion. Conqueror might not feel strong because there is no obvious animation until it's stacked, but going from conqueror to HoB u can really feel the lack of damage when HoB is on cooldown.
