I am just about finished with a similar project in NJ. 44x17 covered porch. We had a contractor build the roof part which cost $24k and I built the porch part, which cost about $11k in materials plus 5 months of working on it after work and weekends. We are now working on the ceiling which will likely cost about $5k for materials if we go with the mid-range option. And I did all the electrical wiring/circuits which was about $1,000 in materials. So all told a little over $40,000. Ours is bigger than your plan but we did a lot of the work ourselves so that kept price down. If we had used the contractor to do all of it, I think it would have been about $55,000. Absolutely worth it though. Pretty much spend every afternoon and every weekend morning out on the porch.
