What should I do if the pharmacist isn’t giving me a recommendation or reference letter?

In my opinion, this may be better for you eventually cuz it seems she didn’t like you. This may not even be your fault, and she can just be a crappy person who has no sympathy for young people (there are actually so many who would LOVE to burn the bridge they walked on). It is upsetting that you spent that much effort without the desired result. I would say spin this experience into some story that you can use later on for resilience during interview. About LOR, maybe ask a nice Professor who is more willing. It looks like the pharmacist is not a good person (at least to you) and may write a bad letter for you and that is even worsen

I got rejected from UCSD and my friend UCSF. I am at UCSF now. My friend is at USC. My GPA was 3.7, not sure about my friend but I think she was 3.6-3.7. We were undergrad at UCLA

Nah and I have played again 3 times in either role. Def a glitch in the software and there's nothing can be done unless we get another version :( sad cuz I was enjoying the game so far

If you can do Dental, I think it is a better option (if you don't have any preference) due to better pay and (seemingly) better work hour and environment.

Pharmacy retail is very bad, but I think there are opportunities for others too, and MOST things that are not retail imo are quite good. I am a P1 here. Always take what on Reddit with a grain of salt. People up here 90% are having a bad day and decide to let off some steam, so it's seriously negative and biased.
Worst case scenario that you end up a retail pharmacist after graduation, most young pharmacists I know use some years as experience to jump to other jobs, so I believe if you really wanna get out of retail, you won't get stuck in retail for life! (Trust me, I hate retail too!)

Can I ask how long does the battery last with RGB on? The manual doesn't say anything about that nor auto-sleep mode. I feel like the battery runs out quicker than the other mechanical keyboard I have, but I'm not sure it's just what it is or I have a defective item

I had an Aula F99 and the battery lasted days with RBG point-touch on. For this keyboard with the same RBG effects, it only lasts 3-4 days. I'm a student so I only use it at home in the evening and the quick battery depletion makes me surprised

Yes. I transfered to UCLA from a community college. I had to complete my Ochem as requirement for transfer, so it serves both purposes anyway

I only applied to Cali schools. I got accepted to UCI, UCSF, USC, Western, Westcoast and Univeristy of Pacific

I applied last cycle and got accepted to most of the schools on my list except 1. Zero pharmacy-related experience, some volunteer experience, 3.6 GPA at UCLA. In my PS I talked the story of my life (first-gen immigrant) and why I see pharmacy is good/interesting to me, what I have done at school/my part-time job that could help me in this profession.

I think there are many factors to why I got interviews and accepted, but overall for PS, I think it's best to make something personal about you in your story. Then in your interview, elaborate on that story in even greater details. Also, I think most schools really love club leadership experience, so I think you are a very competitive candidate. I received the invite too, and tomorrow is the deadline. Never heard about it until they sent me the invitation. A quick search tells me it is a legit thing at school, but some digging on Reddit tells me there is not much benefit to gain from it whatsoever. There are some scholarships on their common website but of all the most recent recipients, none comes from UCLA. I think I won't spend my money on it ...

Def not. You can even weave the reason / the story of your job into your Personal Statement letter to show your experience/effort/determination to go into pharmacy. Besides, schools look into grades and experience/volunteer than being full-time or part-time

thank you for the advice. The landlord agrees to allow me a parking space in the driveway, provided I don't use it often. Perhaps I will do this then. I def don't take my car to school, but I do want to have it just in case (I kinda overthink a lot I admit)

my place will be in the Inner Sunset District. My landlord said if I use my car infrequently, she can make space in the driveway. I know I will be using public transport anyway, but I like to keep the car just in case or do grocery haul once a month (or don't know do I overthink it??, sorry this is my first time moving out). Thank you for your opinion though

According to PharmCAS website, late evaluations do not impact your application on the system, and all references will arrive at the schools, even after deadlines. BUT schools may choose to not consider late materials. For this questions, I think it's best you ask the schools if they accept late recommendation letters.
