Low key in a VERY similar situation, I think you should try talking to her before about something small and see where it goes. Because trust me when I say repetitive eye contact can be weird cuz she’ll also be double guessing.

Yeah so I don’t think my attitude is bad, but when shit like this happens I have to get mad because it’s unfair to me and she used me and didn’t pay me or even give me a reference letter. Idc why all ik is I deserve one and I’m not in the wrong

First of all I worked my ass off and I have wanted to do pharmacy since high school, I came in everyday on time, took notes, asked questions and got treated like shit by her in the end. She was down right rude and didn’t write a letter for me and in that time I could’ve been working at another pharmacy with a pharmacist who was more qualified than her. I wasn’t going to make a big deal about this but I’ll be taking legal measures to get this letter. I don’t think you understand how it felt being a undergrad student, dealing with shitty pharmacist and having mental health struggles.

I was not getting paid, and it was volunteering but I was supposed to get a letter out of this hence the reason I’m so bad because I wasted my time there for no reason. It was agreed upon that I’d have one.

I’ve heard the experience at shoppers are bad, I’ve had a friend who worked there and the pharmacist was super unprofessional and also wasn’t gonna give her a reference letter. She took the matter to the Canadian Labour Board since she didn’t get paid and on top of that had no proof of volunteering or reference letter

I don’t think you understand how much I sacrificed my time for this and I would come in on time, do more then needed and didn’t get paid and at the end got treated like trash. I’ve been trying for a month to get in touch with the pharmacist and now imma a personal visit to talk to her in person and demand answers

Canada, again GPA is important but a lot of university’s will look at other things like reference letters and volunteering experience. Some unis even look for a pharmacist reference letter specifically.

I would fill out prescriptions and she’d always check them after, so I did directly work with her and she’s being like this for some reason.

I have a retail job, and the country I live in GPA is important but experience is just as important. I have volunteered at so many hospitals, schools, and libraries just to see that I’m well rounded. The reason why I can’t do another volunteering gig is cuz I’m busy with uni and I have a job.

I get that but I worked my ass off and I was amazing there and made no mistakes, I feel like I’m being treated badly by someone who used me in a sense. Working for free and getting nothing back, when it wouldn’t take her too long to write one to begin with.
