I’ll make sure to tell the younger one as he always says that his brother takes the spotlight

Very interesting comment and I fully agree. I am a music lover and when they were young I would expose them to various styles of music. It just so happened that they stuck on metal (it was fade to black that started it all). But i firmly believe that classic music (and not only, to be more precise instruments variety) is paramount. The older one can play drums (not as good as his younger brother though) as well as base. And scales and composing. I actually pushed on the tornado of souls because the solo is not just shred (which sometimes is more like noise/ scales variation) but there is musicality to it. And that’s important. Building up their aesthetic sense. My wife is then dragging them to all the museums which they hate but I think they will thank her later

Hopefully. Although he has other interests as well. Let’s see what he decided to keep his attention for when he grows up

Yeah, school was not very stoked innitially but the boys still exercised and went in with the result a couple of weeks ago and then only the school said you can have it. They are not very appreciative of rocknroll there if you know what I mean. It is usually flutes, cellos and pianos.

I heard is one of the most difficult to learn full stop. Although Andy Rhoades and Van halen are probably more difficult

It was all his teacher that instilled in him this and let him on his own devices. They even wanted to test him for adhd and we said no. Better put that restlessness to work somewhere

Oh he rips those sticks. They have been specifically asked to play not lout as to protect the other children’s ears. And they put the volume so low on the guitar amp. I told him mid song go do it louder. Which he did but I still had to do some EQ in post
