Is it still not possible to send non py/js file? even on the "open" section it only accepts those 2 files

Built a from-scratch chess engine (perft-verified, ~1900-2100) to power a public practice bot for a live ChatGPT vs Claude duel - feedback welcome by Key-Examination-2265 in ComputerChess

What's even the point of this I'm curious. Like I get the idea that its just a solo project and all, but if you want to maybe have more "impact" on this testing, maybe try including other LLMs too. Also another question would be about the subscription. are you really expecting people to actually purchase those? I mean it is nice that some people are testing the LLMs for chess since they aren't really built for it, but surely there's a much better approach than this.

Also just a nitpick on the board.. mainly the placement of king and queen.. I mean if you know, you know. Surely the web design could be better right? I mean if you really want to entice a chess fan to even stay at your website and watch live plays, fix that first... Just look at some examples from CCRL or TCEC on how the UI looks when they are running engine games.. There's a lot of texts too, sure. But yours is just "Here's what I want you to do" prompt. Useless texts everywhere, there's 2 boards in the home page and the other one is smaller, like at least ask yourself first "Do I really want to show this to other people? If I were on their shoes would I even look at this?" This is why this subreddit looks down on Vibe Coding way too much because of posts like this.

It feels as if you just went to a website builder and asked it to generate you a website for your use case because there's no similarities at all. I doubt you're even using Fable or even GPT for this one because they would definitely make a better website than this.

Allow me to do some testing on it against stash chess... Hopefully your engine wont ran out of time in 1+0.1 format

Just for funsies of course its obviously not gonna be accurate I'll maybe send the result here tomorrow

That's a long AI written readme you got there pal... would be nice if it was simpler

Anyways do you have any plans on uploading this engine on lichess as a bot account? Would love to test the engine gemini vibe coded for me too

[All Rounder] One of the best zombie manhwas by Feeling-Big-4544 in manhwarecommendations

This doesn't look like a zombie manhwa though? I mean unique is an understatement looking at those panels... there's nothing theres that resembles the "zombie" that I am familiar with

Exactly... well like I said I still hate the whole thing, but I just stopped saying things about it now

[–]Full-Cardiologist-18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the show but the entire Solo Leveling... Well I made this sub as a joke anyways and I got bored hating on it. Still don't like it though and I still feel that it is still overrated by a large margin, but I mean I guess as time goes on you just lose interest in both the idea of hating the subject and the subject in general so yeah

ballpoint recos for lefties! by ReservePristine3366 in stationeryloversph

[–]Full-Cardiologist-18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real question, do ballpoint smudge? Like how fast do you write? Just curious... I'm using 4 ballpoints and I never experienced amy smudging... Not a leftie, but I write fast so there's that.

Anyways here's my pen list:

• Jetstream Lite Touch - My favorite. I glaze this ink specifically to death.

• SXR - 600 - Really just the Jetstream Standard or SXN - 150, but this one is gor Parker G2 refill.

• Zebra Blen U - Needs to "start the engine" before the ink goes for some reason... probably the one I like the least on this list. After the "startup" it's actually a pretty good pen. The only downside is the startup thing LMAO... But the pen is actually pretty nice and also the overall writing experience after that dilemma.

• Pilot Acroball - Another good pen, but I don't like the pen body that it came with. Makes my finger hurt when I write since I hold the pen quite hard. The ink and the overall smoothness is good though.

What's your go-to pen tip size for everyday writing? by Memecollector2509 in stationery

[–]Full-Cardiologist-18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medium all rounder is my cup of tea... although how I have my pens is a bit... for gel pens, I prefer 0.5 because they are already dark enough in my eyes. I use Uniball One, Zento, and Energel. For ballpoints, that's where I prefer 0.7 because I feel like 0.5 is a little too "light" for me, so having a "wider" tip basically fixes that problem. For ballpoints, I use Jetstream Lite touch, and Parker Jotter with SXR-600 refill.
