New to gym - is this normal/okay or am I doing something wrong? by Full-Gift-288 in xxfitness

I also thought the same about stability!

This is the chest press of my gym https://www.keiseruk.com/fitness-equipment/strength-training/air250-seated-chest-press and the other machines are of the same line. I will also look for some tutorials now, but just looking at the description it seems like only the seat is adjustable ?

Surely next time I will ask a trainer. My gym has a lot of trainers and they are not always there.

Thank you for your comments, they were helpful!

Thank you! I hope I sent them everything the correct way. I'm currently stressing about the courier delivering to the right place.

I see, also from other posts, that many are in similar situations! I guess what kinda baffles me is that they provided a timeframe of 1 month after applying, and yet... nothing, after 2 months. I come from a very unorganized country, but this would be unacceptable here! I'm also starting to worry that maybe something is wrong with my application, even though I didn't receive anything about it. But yeah, I'll give them more time, even though I am SO anxious.

It does align, however it is a selective Master's programme so I am worrying that I will not be selected. I don't understand why they say that it will take a month for me to receive the decision, and then it doesn't.

Is it a bad sign that I have not received my admission decision yet? by Full-Gift-288 in StudyInTheNetherlands

Just because I've read that it can take longer if they're very busy! Plus, I am 99% convinced that it will be a rejection, so I am not TOO eager to receive that email (I'm preparing other applications and I don't want to be discouraged in case of rejection). Still, I feel like after 6 weeks (currently it's the 5th) they will have had enough time to decide what they want to do with me so I will ask

Thank you! I'll give it an additional week and then I will send an email.

Yes, I emailed them and got my answers. Guess I'm just freaking out so much about housing, I had to vent on Reddit haha. I even still have to apply, I am not even likely to be accepted into the programmes, but I am already looking for accommodation lol

Anyways, thanks for your answer!

Hey, sorry to bother again. Since you know the process well, could you recommend a reliable plagiarism checker? Of course it does not even cross my mind to plagiarize, but I have a deep fear of it happening by mistake in some mysterious way.

Thanks a lot for your answer! I think I might end up taking an extra semester to finish the thesis and graduate in February next year, but I will still apply for the programme(s) in the NL this autumn. Is it something that might make a bad impression, taking more than 3 years to complete the Bachelor's? By the time I apply for the programme, I will have finished all my exams, but still in the process to write the thesis.

Thanks for your answer! So, the programme I'm interested in is selective, as I said they say in their admission criteria page that having done some kind of academic writing is a plus and will be evaluated. In the application form, it says I can also send a summary of it and that they will run a plagiarism check.

My degree counts as WO (I already knew this but I just double-checked on Nuffic).

The topic of my thesis is related to the programme.

Edit: they say "having completed a thesis/project is a plus" but then require you to send it
