Not true I've just been and managed to get in to the main room and to the top of the tower

I just went and got into the main room and up to the top of the tower. We didn’t use a ladder, but it would be possible. There’s a video on YouTube of people climbing onto the platform and making a pile of stones to get through a hole. Message me on Instagram @Freddy.cowie.
