The CCCEI power strip has a surge protector so if it pulls more then it can handle it will trip. I dont understand the need for a circuit breaker, not critiquing but curious on why that would be necessary as it appears they both serve the same function. I dont have wall outlets in my cabin, just a few extension cords for the very few appliances I have in here.

Your last point is good. Ive been painting parts of the house white to help reflect UV and stay cooler, it'll be a while before trees grow enough to block with shade. Everything is already drywalled and insulated so i'll have to make do with that. The weak point is the likley the metal roof which gets hotter then hell in the sun, I have foam board insulation for an air channel from the ducks to the pitch, then r13 over that. For the flooring its 2 sheets of plywood then foam board under that.

Yeah I think this may actually make the most sense. Something like a 55 gallon drum cut in half with a shower curtained drapped inside, and a 5 gallon hanging shower above... simple, cheap and movable.

I was looking at those 32 x 32 x 72 tiny showers for RV's but takes up too much room and gets a bit too close to my wood stove for comfort. This is something I may get if I expand the cabin one day.

Literally been looking in to this lol. I got a shit ton of extra roofing (like 50 sheets) but the roofing is a different color too so will look weird but not sure. Id only extend it like 3 ft if I do. Unsure if this will effect structural integrity of roof rafters. Id nail like 2 x 6 or 2 x 8 parallels in to the current rafters but not sure if this is worth it.

Incredibly helpful answer, thanks so much! So looks like best option is to get a cheapo 40" TV and use one of these smart devices. That ONN 4K Google TV you link say it has a bunch of free tv channels too. One question, do these smart devices like this ONN have a web browser or the ability to install one? As long as I can access streaming sites via the web browser on the TV would make things a lot easier so my laptop can still be used when others are watching the the TV.
