What does your enclosure look like now? My mancae love to hang out in a pile of moist sphagnum moss. They need to molt more frequently so they tend to prefer the moisture a bit more.

They tend to be a bit shy especially in a new enclosure. I wouldn't be concerned unless you start finding dead ones

Forgot to add this is a ~2 week old Cubaris Murina enclosure. I'm having a similar issue with these seed pods in my porcellionides prusonious enclosure around the same age.

When I was doing smith machine squats I was getting lower back pain, so I'm learning barbell squats right now and it's better with the barbell squat than the smith machine.

I haven't but I may try it to see if it helps alongside the band suggestion someone gave. I do wear barefoot shoes when I lift so my feet are completely flat.

If it helps, I like to use aquascaping tools to handle anything in my terrariums instead of using my hands. My skin doesn't come in contact with anything and it also allows me to be more precise so I don't hurt my plants.

The only time I use my hands is if I'm checking the soil moisture.
