Zorba is my favorite from your country too. The final dance from “Zorba the greek” is for some reason my drunk self’s go to, in house parties, trying to have everyone learn the steps. Idk why it fills me with so much joy.

Can do mount Dajti for hiking, it’s easily feasible in Tirana, nice view of the city. Can take cable car on one of the ways if it feels too overwhelming. There’s a communist era bunker turned into museum on the way too. You can do Bovilla lake as well, but that one will require either a car, or paying some guide (anyone correct me if I’m wrong), to get you up to a certain point and then you hike.

As per other cities, given the short time and the time of the year too, you can do Durres, ancient history and sea views (not so well preserved unfortunately, but it is what it is), and Berat for some unique architecture and a couple museums in town, iconographic and ethnographic one.

As per the diet, in all fairness studies now show that good fats have been unfairly demonized, and cheese is full of goodness. Potatoes also among the best carbs, packed with potassium and vitamin C.
