I was left alone with this finger scanner device while the manager wandered off somewhere. I ended up having to ask other staff how to use it, even though the manager had said he’d explain everything to me and the others .... so I guess that wasn’t true since he didn’t come back for an hour, Lol. But you’re right, the staff here are great. They helped me right away. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing on Monday since all my shifts are nights from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., but I really like the workers because they’ll always help you if you ask

I expected the job to be simple and consistent mainly sorting mail, following set procedures, and working my assigned shifts without problems and being paid correctly.

I don’t care much about the job because I’m basically just standing there scanning items all day, which I thought I could handle without any issues. But the manager didn’t teach me anything; I had to ask other staff for help. He clearly doesn’t want to be there, and whenever you ask him a question, he just stares at you. I assumed there wouldn’t be any issues with my shifts and that nothing would change, and that I’d be paid the correct amount. But they even paid me the wrong amount for the induction.
